"I would never recommend working for this owner.. I work here for three months .. the owner Joanna took advantage of me when I worked there .. Joanna had me cleaning and answering her phone.. she would schedule me to be there all day and when it came down to paying Joanna didn't think she had to.. at our hearing she did tell me " I was lucky she aloud me to work in her salon" and "I wouldnt win" .. the hearing officer did tell Joanna she didn't know how to run a business and if she needed help she could help her."
"Joanna has being doing my hair for about a year now and she does a wonderful job. She does a top notch job and if I have issue we are able to discuss and come to a resolution. I highly recommend her and her employee Ashley"
"BUYER BEWARE. Worst experience EVER - - (which is saying a lot) and which would take too long to detail here but here are the highlights: 1. When I arrived at what I thought was the salon, someone told me I had come to the wrong place and had to go elsewhere. It appears they use the same phone for two locations and don't coordinate their appointments. Waste of my time! 2. When I arrived at the RIGHT location, the owner (who was also cutting my hair) greeted me by the wrong name. I corrected her but she continued to use the wrong name throughout my appointment. 3. She completely stopped talking/cutting numerous times throughout my appointment to attend to a "crisis" situation in the salon that escalated to crying, shouting on the phone at a customer, and another stylist running out of the room. During all this, I was passed off to at least two other people , including another stylist, who tried to pick up where she left off. NOT cool. 4. They put about 5x the amount of scalp oil on my head that they should have, so by the end, my uneven hair (from 2 different stylists) was an oily mess. The owner even said, "This isn't right; can you come back this afternoon so I can fix it?" I wanted to scream, "NO, I can't come back! I've already spent 3 hours on this lousy cut and have to go back to work!" 5. The owner had the NERVE - after all that - to charge me full price and did not even apologize for the lousy and completely unprofessional cut and overall experience. It's taken me a long time to even write this review because the experience was so traumatic. I would never recommend this salon to anyone: maybe they were having a bad day but that's no excuse for the treatment I received."
"Go see SONYA!!!! She is amazing! She takes her time and makes you enjoy getting your hair done! I have never felt so comfortable with a stylist. Take the time and wait for Sonya you wonโt be disappointed I promise!!!"
"Sadly I cannot recommend this salon. I got full highlights done here by Tony (no longer there) and left with color still in my hair after it being dried and styled. Never had that happen before, an intern didn't rinse it very well. Everyone is really nice here though so I decided to give them another chance when I needed my roots touched up. The intern that left color in my hair the first time was the one who did my roots, Faith. She is so sweet and comes off very confident in what she is doing that I trusted her. But boy did the results show her inexperience. She gave me exactly what I didn't want. I told her I didn't want any orange or brassy or reddish in my highlights, that I wanted ashy neutral highlights. After 3 1/2 hrs, being toned twice and another stylist having to help her, I was so ready to get out of there! No amount of toning was going to take away the orange brassy color when she didn't lift my highlights enough from the beginning. And after a few washes it was orange. I'm upset that the owner let someone so inexperienced do my hair the second time after knowing about my bad experience. Faith should not be doing color yet on her own at an Aveda salon. These were the worst highlights I've ever had and I had to pay over $100 for just the roots. I'd expect this kind of work from a Walmart salon at Walmart prices. Not at an Aveda salon at Aveda prices from such a new stylist who even though very nice, needs much more practice. Now I'm stuck with orange highlights until my next appointment somewhere else. If you must go here, go to Evelyn, she cut my hair once and did a great job"
