"I got my haircut yesterday (3/26/24) at The Hype Hair Academy. It was a great experience. Hillary was my student hair stylist. Besides her nice personality, she seemed to also enjoy telling me about what she was doing with my hair. I love the dynamics between Chris (the teacher and owner of the salon) and Hillary (the student). There was a lot of learning going on and I was benefiting from it with a nice haircut. I'm looking forward to going back and seeing Hillary again. Thanks ladies for the enjoyable time and the great haircut."

"First time here based on my best friends recommendation, booked a balayage with Kayla online, first let me say their online booking is pretty cool. Tells you how many hours you might need for the service and if you're not sure you can schedule a consult. For me I had 9 months of grow out from my last bleach service elsewhere and went with 4 hours to be safe according to their guidelines, as my hair is also thick. Kayla was exactly what I was looking for in a stylist, she was so kind and patient. I showed her a few pictures and she was very thorough in her questions to make sure we were on the same page, when I wasn't sure what I wanted (money piece vs. not, blended or chunky, shadow root, what toner?), she was patient in explaining differences and helped me understand what I wanted. Kayla absolutely NAILED it! She made sure I was relaxed, comfortable, great conversation during, overall just a great experience with her!! My hair came out exactly how I wanted it, it looks amazing! Before I left I made sure to schedule my next two appointments with her, I will definitely be back. Oh and the studio is adorable, the vibe is great and all the stylists seemed super nice, you could tell just by watching them with each other and with their clients. Definitely recommend checking out The Hype!"

"Kayla at The Hype Hair Studio did an AMAZING job on my Balayage and trim. I struggle with hair loss, and she helped me pick a style/cut that would make my hair appear thicker. She is very professional and talented, but also SO fun and sweet! Kayla was super knowledgable and was eager to answer my questions about toners, bleaching etc. The salon in general has become my all time favorite. I love the atmosphere and how fun & talented everyone is!"
