"Came to Holy Cow after a long walk on the Bosque. The seating on the porch is pleasant and quiet. I ordered the fish and chips (full order) and enjoyed it. Only critique is a more flavorful batter for the fish, but the malt vinegar did help with that. My partner ordered the Poblano and Goat Cheese burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. We split an order of onion rings and have no critique of those, they were awesome. Also, highly highly recommend getting the oreo milkshake."
"So my food was what you'd expect from this restaurant. It's been good for a while. I got a salad, and we ordered sweet potato fries and a strawberry malt. We had beers and burgers also. Everything was tasty, but the service was just ok. My thing is the place is dirty. Like filthy dirty. The tables the floor the walls the lights all greasy. There isn't anywhere you look that you don't see oil and grease and dirt. You can feel it on the tables inside the most so we went outside with the tables being stainless (they are easier to clean) but the walls and the outside lights were still distractingly gross. This place needs a deep clean. It almost feels like the ownership may have lost its passion for upkeep. If it's like this where we can see, can you imaginethe kitchen."
"It was my first time there. The burger was so good! If it's not all over the place, it shouldn't be in your face! I also got the fried pickles with ranch. They were a little crispy but still good after you took off the breading. The service was friendly!"
"Excellent burger shop with great customer service and friendly and welcoming environment. The fries and cucumber chips were excellent. Recommend half portions. we got the caramel, salted, pretzel shake as well and it was delicious."
"We stopped here for dinner before 6PM on 9 Sept 2023. We sat at the half booth against the wall closest to the counter, and it gave us a good view of the entire restaurant. The tables were spaced out well and the overall appearance of the inside and out, was lovely. Our server brought us menus very quickly once we sat down, and that incredible service didn't stop! I wish I knew his name, but he was on top of everything from start to finish, and was just an awesome human overall. Kudos! The menu has many appealing options, but we both chose the Holy Cow Burger, medium rare. I had the hand-cut fries, and my significant other had the beer-battered onion rings. The serving of fries was HUGE; I had to get a to-go box so I could finish them later, 'cause they were too delicious to let go to waste. He enjoyed the onion rings and what he had of the fries, as well. Our burgers were cooked to order, and phenomenal! I already know what I want to try when we go back... and we definitely plan to go back ASAP! Don't pass up the chance to eat here, whether you're a local or just passing through. I can't recommend Holy Cow Burger more! P.S.: Burgers and sides are ordered separately, and WORTH IT!"
