"If you want a tea time experience, there is literally no better place in the country. You have to book months in advance bc it’s so popular. But once you go you know why. We had tea in the Jane Eyre room and your group has its own area to chat and feel like you have the place to yourself. It’s not too often a venue can do that for you. It felt intimate and special. I encourage you to dress up for high tea, go all out! Pretend you’re going to tea with the queen. This place totally makes you feel like you are. Good delicious! Tea was to die for. I ended up buying some to take home. There are so many herbal and dark tea options - some very unique! There is genuinely nothing negative I can say about this place….open more locations in the US?!"

"St. James Tearoom is such an amazing experience. I accompanied a friend a few weeks ago, and it was certainly one of the most unique dining experiences I've ever had! The ambiance is unmatched. Each table is surrounded by curtains, and because of this, you are given an extra sense of privacy and intimacy. The menu is fluid and changes regularly over time. However, in this particular instance, everything was delicious! Your meal is delivered in a 3 tiered serving tray with a variety of savory and sweet finger foods. Each one having a unique flavor and texture. You are also served 3 different kinds of piping hot teas that are paired specifically for each course! The customer service was excellent and not overbearing at all. Our waitress was knowledgeable of both the teas and the menu for the evening! All in all, St. James Tearoom is a little pricey, but it is certainly worth it for the experience. This establishment would be the PERFECT place for a date, as well as an outing with friends or family."

"My first time to this establishment. My daughter, Kelly, recommended that I try it because she knows that me and her brother love tea and her mom and sister love snacks. Let me tell you, not one of us were disappointed! Themed high tea! Our theme was Narnia and the savory tea sandwiches, scones and sweet desserts were named after the characters in the movie. During the meal, three pots of different teas were brought in and served to us in delicate tea cups, lumps of white and brown sugars along with cream were on the table and I must say, my son and I had our fair share of tea! The each pot of tea was served at the perfect temperature for drinking and it was hard to decide which we liked the best! Now, you may think that one would not get full on finger sandwiches but we sure did and there was six in our party! There were several other parties there that day and the rooms were divided by heavy curtains which could be drawn so that there was privacy. Couches with pillows and comfortable armchairs let us dine in complete comfort and our server was simply the best and made us feel like nobility as did all of the staff! There was also a gift shop where I will be doing my Christmas shopping and a section where teas of all sorts were being on display for sale! This was truly a magical experience and I highly recommend St. James Tea House for birthdays, anniversaries, dates, mom and dad getaways and get togethers in general. Try St. James soon!!!!"
