"Overall, it’s a decent Chinese restaurant in small town New Mexico. I had the sweet-and-sour chicken with the sauce on the side. The chicken was nicely cooked, but the sauce had a taste that I could not put my finger on what it was, but it was not something to my liking, so I did not eat the sauce. I ended up taking the chicken home and buying sweet-and-sour sauce at Walmart. I also had the barbecue fried rice, and I thought that was very good. The staff and service were outstanding even though the restaurant was packed with customers. If you’re trying to decide on a good Chinese restaurant in Silver city, I think you should definitely give the Chinese Place an opportunity to show you what they can do. Enjoy!"

"Small Chinese restaurant in Silver. We had their reasonably priced lunch specials yesterday. The food was tasty with large portions! The cute server (she was the only one) was on the ball. Expertly handling a full house all by herself. She also doubles as the cook's helper. Recommend!"
