"Wyndam you should be ashamed!! If I could give a negative review I would. The rooms were filthy, cigarette burns in the linen, the smell was awful and front desk is behind bullet proof glass. I had made reservations not knowing the area, needless to say I asked for a refund after seeing the room and went further into town to another Wyndam property. I have never been so disgusted with a Days Inn Wyndam property in my life. I should have taken pictures, but I just wanted out as fast as I could."
"This lil motel may just be perfect for you...if you: (1) are too drunk to see it clearly or possibly just too drunk to successfully drive you car even half a block down to the Econoloade... OR if you (2) have a kink for being turned upside down and shaken like a coinpurse, so the management can squeeze a paltry few more dollars and change out of guests who, no matter how good a deal they got, have paid far too much for a place like this. As many others have said, the first thing a guest is told upon arrival is that "we will need a hundred dollar cash deposit, no exceptions!" Well hello right back to you, Mr. Front Desk Friendly. And as my eyes scan the lobby for an ATM, realize Front Desk Friendly is watching me, waiting for me to ask, "Where's the ATM?" "Oh you can go to any one you want, sir, but we cannot check you in without a cash..." Yes, I understand. I'm asking where would you go if you were in my position? Oh the gas station at the end of the block. Sure. Upon returning with my deposit, I got to listen to another check-in group moving through the exact same process, nearly identical dialogue, everything. I piped up, "There an ATM at the end of the block, gas station, the withdrawl fee is $2.75." As they hustled to the ATM, I resumed checkin. Since I had paid for the room via 3rd party website, and since my deposit would be in cash, I never offered my credit card, but the desk agent did not like that. I said, "Deposit is in cash, room is paid...why do you need my card?" Instead of answering, the fellow just pointed four times at a typed page taped to the inside of the plexiglass partition he worked behind This sign faced the customers and detailed a $6.95 per day charge that paid for room service and cleaning "even if you do not request service during your stay." I noticed this was one of maybe 6 or 7 signs, all giving arcane little facts about additional charges, potential infractions that could lead to fees, etc. Strangely, there was no sign letting people kmow about tyhe hundred dollar cash deposit. "You credit card, sir?" He was impatient and seemed irritated with me. But I just puilled oiut another $20 I'd gotten from that ATM, a little extra cash. "Take it out of this. I don't see any reason to put that on my card, do you?" He said nothing and gave me my change slowly. It was very awkward. After that, I was about to get my room key, when the agent looked hard at the computer screen, and then loooked back at me, said, "YOU do not need a handicap room, do you?" "I don't need one. But as you can see, I did pay extra for one. I generally get them because I know in hotels with rooms facing parking lots, it's better to be on the ground floor and disability accessible rooms are always on the ground floor." Again, long awkward silence, then: "breakfast is included. thank you for your business." "Before I go, can I get a copy of the 100 dollar deposit policy? Or even just a receipt showing that handed over that cash? And when do I get it back? At checkout? Does someone go look over my room and then release my money?" "Sir you will receive a copy of the receipt for your deposit tomorrow after we determine you have not damaged the rooms." "It's one of the documents I just signed, right? How about I just take a picture of it?" He let me do that, grudgingly. I also would learn the wifi password printed by someone who works here was actually incorrect. It featured an obvious capitalized letter and only by multiple trial and error did I finally get a version of the password to work that was all lower case. So...that was my horrific checkin. Does anyone want to hear all the details about my filthy, thriftstore-looking room? Oh, you don't? Well, maybe another time."
"The man who checked us in had a terrible attitude and explained nothing that was important, he had also had tossed our room card at us. The room we were we had to immediately switch out, we couldn't close the door, there we stains all over the beds and we had also found a pack of breadrolls behind the fridge along with cockroach. The tv was also tagged up and the remote had no back and the batteries were taped in, There was also a heavy smell of cigarettes in both rooms we had. Not to mention the fact theres am electrical outlit with exposed wires on the side of the building."
"Room was filthy, sheets and comforter were stained. Night stands were sticky and I had to clean them. There was no night lock on door. Walls are paper thin, you can hear adjancet rooms using water and toilets. The walls and ceiling had stains and were in disrepair. There are no refunds. I will never stay at a Days Inn again."
