"Rooms aren't super quiet. A little sketchy location. Clean rooms though. Water slide is only open from 5-9 on weekends which is good information to know (we found out after the fact)."
"RESIDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????? Called to get a room after we had a flood in our house. Needed a place for my Wife and I along with our 3 little children here to stay for the restoration company to do the water extraction in my home. They told me that they do not rent out to residence because people bring too many other people into the pool. Basically summed up Albuquerque and the surrounding residence towns people are too ghetto to rent to! What the Hell is that? Sounds like a discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen if you ask me. We ended up staying at the Drury Hotel and this was an awesome hotel. Professional and friendly not what I felt with on the phone with holiday inn. Also, most of the people that I met here are Residents. My guess is the Holiday Inn will not be in business much longer."
"I called to make a reservationfor 3 rooms. We had family coming into town and wanted to stay close to enjoy our time together. They are coming into town to spend time with my son for his birthday. We picked this hotel because of the slide and pool. I asked the person who answered the phone if the pool was open and what the hours where for the pool and slide because online it had the hotel was under some construction. The receptionist was very rude and said we can go to the Aquatic center in town and they don't rent to people who live within 35 miles of the hotel. Why have a pool and slide for everyone in town to see but can't use it???? We have stayed in this hotel in the past with no issues. I completely understand not wanting birthday parties in the pool area. I do not understand why you have to be rude and sound annoyed when asking about the pool and slide. If you don't want people using the pool and slide then don't offer this service. This is not a kid friendly hotel at all."
"My family had very poor experience at this hotel. We had called ahead before booking to clarify what the pool hours were and if it was under construction and if the hotel had breakfast included. We were told that the pool was open and not under construction. Upon arrival we could not access the hotel due to a semi being parked in the entrance which isn't a street entrance but more like an alley. Once the semi moved the front parkinglot was full. We proceeded around the side to find shipping containers occupying part of the parkinglot, used sinks and toilets scattered around in the parkinglot and a construction crew going in and out of the building. The frontdesk person was polite upon check in and we headed to our room. One elevator was "out of order" and the one we rode in was full of sheetrock dust and when we got to the 3rd floor I noticed a number of holes cut in the ceiling exposing the electrical wires. Our room was nice but only 2 towels for 4 guests. I pushed the front desk button on the phone and when the person answered I asked for towels, the person then instructed me to call the front desk and hung up. I went down and asked for towels, I was told "that service is not offered" I don't know what to say to that so I swiped some pool towels for showering. They have breakfast but it isn't part of the room and you have to pay quite a bit to eat there. Overall we won't be back anytime soon and management gave the impression that my feedback wasn't appreciated and that I shouldn't come back if "I was unhappy with the accomidations" Guess I'll be booking elsewhere..."
"My wife liked the bedding. Pool was a good experience. We liked the room. We were next to elevators so we could hear the elevator motors all the time. It did not bother me when I realized what the noise was. American Bistro restaurant was good. I was surprised at the flavors. My wife was impressed. It rivals a typical American dinner."
