"I was worried about getting food in Gallup because of the reviews everywhere. I was going to go to Burger King but PopEyes was closer and looked nice. There was no line at 6:30pm, the male who took our order was upbeat and friendly, and the food was fresh and the best quality I have experienced so far at a PopEyes. Hubby got the new wings and I got the 3pc tenders. Leaving this review to help others passing through who are worried lol would recommend this location to anyone."

"Lack of reviews on yelp had me wonder should I or not, however Linda who took my order was such a sweet lady. She was welcoming, friendly and patient. There were a few customizations I requested and she heard them all and ensured the food was prepared as ordered. This is the only time I have EVER received great customer service at Popeyes coming from TX. Linda you rock and thank you for taking care of me."

"I ordered at the drive-thru, got some nuggets and hot wings and went to pay. After paying I was told to go park in the lot next to me and wait for my order. I waited 20 minutes and no one came. It was not busy, only a few cars behind me. I go inside and ask for my order and all the employees seemed lost and looked like they didn't know what they were doing. I waited an additional 10 minutes for my order. The supervisor (or manager) as well as her employees had ZERO customer service. No apologies, no "sorry for the wait", not even a basic "thank you" after speaking with her. Another employee at the counter just handed me my food and turned his back. My food was not hot by the time I got eat it. Don't come here, it sucks. There are better places that know what they're doing and won't waste your time."

"My wife and I just tried Popeyes chicken for the first time, while in Gallup, NM, and what a mistake. I hope this is not their everyday chicken. We tried their 2 and 3 piece chicken meals and the chicken was very dry and hard. We probably got stuck with chicken that had been sitting under a warmer all day long. At least that's what I hope..."
