"This was something that was on my bucket list to try while we were on our cross country road trip. We spotted this place while stopping at Chee's next door, and will say this was probably one of the best places we stopped at during the whole trip! We sat at the outdoor picnic table, and chatted with locals in the area who were waiting on their order. Learned a lot about the area in a very short amount of time while waiting. When our order came out, I really thought it was going to be similar to a donut, and boy I couldn't have been more wrong! It was flavorful, It was light, and airy. I have since been trying to duplicate this at home! If you are in the area, this is a MUST try!"
"Ms. Shirley was so nice and her food was even more delicious than it smelled. If you’ve got the time and they’re open you should definitely stop in for a taco with everything on it and a fry bread with cinnamon and sugar."
"07/19/2021 They opened at 10am. I got the Navajo taco and the fried bread with melted cheese. It almost reminded me of a sopapilla. Anywho it was pretty good."
"No hours, no phone, risk coming to get bread just to find it closed. It's Thursday at 12:01pm so not sure what exactly is the business hours or if they have any. Don't come here just for the bread. Visit the Yellow Horse, Tee Pee, and other areas around AND if Navajo Bread is open....then consider yourself lucky and buy some. Don't make it a point to come here and get bread as you may be disappointed. Updated...1-9-19 Normally doesn't open on Thursdays. Opens daily at noon. It's a mom and pop place that just goes with it. If it's open...it's open. If it's closed....go to the Petrified Forest Park down the road and visit the gift center Cafe. They sell fry bread. No cost to enter the Cafe or gift shop. Update again...1-12-19 If at all possible....try this Navajo fry bread from here. I've tried others...tried to make my own..nope! This is the best around. These ladies know what they're good at and know you'll be back. They don't want to get rich...just give you great cheap food. Get the one with beans on it. Try the special and of course get a sweet one. If you want to compare to others...just get a plain and add some salt to your liking. For $2.50 you can't go wrong!"
