"First time here an it's a good place to bring the kids or family, play area for kids, places to sit down, lots of different animals.an it's FREE"
"Who doesn't love free....but do buy merchandise. This tribal zoo has really stepped up their game. They have an impressive Eagle sanctuary. You're able to see the indigenous animals because their enclosures are pretty close to viewing areas. The have a big, modern play area in a shaded area. Bring snacks or lunch. Enjoy yourselves."
"This is an amazing little zoo and park that was well worth the detour we took from our road trip to see it. They have a wide variety of local animals that were in habitats allowing for close up viewing, well cared for and stocked with a variety of enrichment activities for the animals. This zoo is unique in offering info on both the animal and how they fit into Navajo culture, which we loved! We did find restroom facilities in back near the bears, so don't be fooled by the portable john up near the front! They have a wonderful playground area, plenty of picnic tables and benches throughout park, but we never found any working water fountains, so I would recommend bringing your own water. It was a very safe, clean, open environment, and is always free entry, although they have donation boxes everywhere to allow you to help out!"
