"You don't have a thermostat in the room. They keep the room way too warm. Got no sleep sweating all night. Water barely gets luke warm. Guess that's ok when the room is 80 degrees. Fly infested. No dead bolt on the door. No ice machine. They keep the fridge unplugged, so if you need to put something in there right away, it'll be hours before it's actually cool. Super cheap moves. Thumbs down. I'll drive a little further next time."
"The motel in Spencer is very clean, the comforters and decor is vintage 1990s, but the customer service is excellent, I arrived late and a key was left for me and the lights were on. I do feel that being able to book through booking sites would make staying in Spencer much easier."
