"This hotel is extraordinary. We stay here every year with two border collies. The manager is above and beyond. Excellent hospitality. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The staff is excellent. The morning coffee and breakfast is great. I cannot recommend it highly enough.They make you stay so comfortable and warm!"

"We left with mixed feelings on this hotel. Everyone was friendly. Our room was huge and had a balcony. But the mattress really could use a flipping, if not a replacement. The left side of the bed was not too bad. I slept well. Because I kind of like a hollowed out area to snuggle up in. The right side was so indented from use that it felt like sleeping with your head and upper body downhill. I offered to take that side, but my husband HAS to have the right side of the bed. So he was uncomfortable and did not sleep well. Kind of his own fault. We had considered flipping/turning the mattress ourselves, but did not want to cause any potential issues doing so. There was some debris on the carpet and I believe there must be hard water issues because of the state of the shower door (see photo) and separate tub. I did try cleaning them myself, with no luck. So we skipped bathing. We had just bathed that morning anyway. I don't know if is that particular batch of waffle batter was supposed to be extra buttermilky or what, but the waffle tasted rancid or at least off somehow. Everything else was good. It was quiet and the staff was very nice."

"I have stayed at many hotels in my life. Always looked at the price before all else. I decided to spend a little extra and was extremely pleased when we arrived. It is by far at the top! Clean and loved the outside door access. Friendly staff. Awesome pool and spa. And excellent choices for breakfast (although the gravy was cold). Will be staying here again if I find myself staying in Chadron."

"Checked in on a Saturday night. Rates were high. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Room was large TV was small. Pool looked nice but got in late. Breakfast was good. Waffles and sausage patty’s. Egg and biscuits and gravy. Cereal and coffee. Lots of seating. Parking was very good at hotel. Right next door is a Country Kitchen restaurant. Went for supper glad it was open till 9:00. The room was not very sound proof. Could hear other people and noise from parking lot. Also the tiles in bathroom were cracked."

"Service was great. We stayed there with a group, and the desk person had the keys all ready when we arrived, and check-in was fast. Location was convenient, and there are places to walk/run nearby (hiking trails behind the college) if you like getting exercise during your travels. Rooms were good but had a bit of a musty/used odor."
