"I saw a '04 Chevy I liked online from Chadron and called. Asked the sales rep Cody a couple questions since I wouldn't be going to see the truck in person and told him I was ready to move forward. I suppose someone walked in and saw the car and tried to purchase it. Cody went ghost on me for two days and when the guy flaked out or his credit wasn't approved I received a call back finally. Whole process was pretty easy. I wire transferred some money over and was approved to finance the rest owed. I asked specifically if the truck was emissions ready for Colorado. I know Nebraska doesn't have laws, but I specifically asked if it would pass emissions in Colorado. Cody told me yes should be fine. I take the truck in for emissions test couple weeks later and it's missing the catalytic converter. Apparently, there's some shortage here in Colorado as well so I'm going to have to take it to a dealership for most likely a $700 fix. I didn't expect Cody to know, he probably didn't get under the car and look, but the false information was extremely disappointing. Could've had someone verify for me or what not at least.That combined with the faulty instrument cluster kind of bummed me out. The truck is exactly what I wanted for the most part, the process, aside from being ignored for two days, was pretty smooth. You know since I'm buying on blind faith I would expect a little more honesty and effort. Could've checked for me guys. Would've taken a couple minutes. Nothing to do, but eat the 1000 dollars in fixes as they won't do anything. I wouldn't purchase from here again, but that's just my experience. They weren't rude to me, for the most part, and the truck isn't bad. If I was in Florida still I wouldn't care at all about the cat, but unfortunately I'm not. Essentially, just a little better customer service, transparency, and honesty. At the end of the day it is what it is I suppose. Thanks."
