"We booked this lodge as it was centrally located close to everything we wanted to visit on our short spring break trip. Our check-in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, tidy, and while small (we had two queens in one room), it was comfortable. Our television didn’t work (we didn’t even use it the first two nights of our own reasons ((we had kids going to bed early and we were out late so we had no use for the tv)), but when we decided to use it, management was MORE than happy to help us. The gentleman spent about 15 minutes getting our tv back running, which obliged our youngest child! Pros: super nice staff, affordable rates for a family, centrally located to everything. (1 hour from a scenic drive, 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore, 35 mins from Custer State Park, an hour from the badlands) Cons: room was a little tight for a family of four (but we made it work easily). Overall, we LOVED our stay! If you’re looking for that off the path, non-chain, quiet location, this is it. If we are ever in the area again, hopefully we will be here again!!"

"Clean, kitchenette rooms. Excellent staff. Mattresses in the room were comfy. 3 nights and my back doesn't hurt in the least. Continental breakfast is decent. A little extra, the road next to the office will take you down a nice windy road leading you to the midway point of Iron Mountain Road to head north towards Keystone. A wonderful ride full of switchbacks, pigtails and tunnels with wonderful views."

"You can't find nicer people! The owners/staff really made us feel welcome, they were so friendly the kind that make you want to come back again and again! The rooms were clean and the little kitchen was beautiful. The location was absolutely perfect and ssooo easy to find!"

"Cute little place. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Clean room. Hot shower. Budget friendly. Our king-size room had a full-size refrigerator, stove top, sink, and microwave. Would recommend and will stay again if we're ever back in the area."
