Lantern Inn

"The night before and the night of our wedding my Bride and I stayed at the Lantern Inn for a quiet get away. Prior to our arrival the owner's Nick and Laura found out it was our wedding. When we arrived to our room, we found a pristine room, bottle of wine, flowers, and a congratulations card. The night before our wedding Nick was so kind and generous. He brought out a fire pit, set up a bunch of chairs, and started a fire for my soon-to-be wife, and our entire family. He truly made the night special. The location is in the center of the black hills. You can't ask for a better location, or a more beautiful place to stay. The rooms were quiet, clean, newly updated, and secure. I've honestly never had a better experience, and I can't thank Nick and Laura enough for making this such a wonderful memory for us."

"Great motel. Very clean and spacious room. We stayed one night in one room then liked it so much we asked to stay another. We did have to change rooms but we were fine with that. Nice location and town with lots to do in the area."

"The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. A little expensive but given the location it was fairly reasonable. Nice that there was a grocery right across the street. Will stay here again!"

"What a great place to stay! I absolutely recommend this super charming inn. We came for 3 nights and the pool was a huge hit with the kids. If you’re looking for something cozy with a great vibe, this is the place. Definitely not the big chain kind of place. Here guests meet and chat outside on benches, by the pool or the fire pit/ picnic tables. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. Groceries and adult beverages available right across the street and it’s a quick walk to restaurants and shops. Thanks for making this a great trip!"
