"Nothing but headaches dealing with billing. They are significantly more expensive then when I had the same procedures done at Dakota Radiology and they still ended up having to send to Dakota Radiology, so I was still billed by them too. Definitely just go to Dakota Radiology for all imaging. They charge ridiculous prices and don’t offer any discount if your insurance rejects your claims. They performed tests that were not ordered by my doctor. I had copies of the orders and they still refused to adjust my bill. One nurse had to start and stop my ultrasound three times because she didn’t know what she was doing and had to go ask another nurse. She took forever and didn’t raise the bed, so she was practically laying on my leg the entire time. Another nurse told me I just needed to go on vacation to get pregnant knowing full well that I was there for IVF monitoring. You would think they would have more tact than that. Overall there are better places to go within Rapid City. Don’t waste your time with Monument."

"My son was injured at Terry Peak. Monument ED took wonderful care of him. Dr Adam and Dr Brooke were caring, thorough and confident. All the nurses were delightful and the check in process was fast and easy. I am so glad and proud we have a team like this here at home in Rapid City to care for my family."

"Today was a good day at the ER. I came in with a broken finger, so I expected it to take a while to get done. I was helped by some of the nicest people. Each time I had interactions on my journey, everyone has excellent customer service skills. I am thankful for all those who helped me in my troubles today."

"Hats off to the ladies or the nurse the front desk/check in window. I came in with my young son after having had a seizure, indicating he wasn’t breathing well, in full terror of my perception of him being unresponsive. The nurse who took him from me didn’t hesitate getting him back to a room, stating the need for a doctor. My sons seizures were because of fever and infection, tho scary, they are rarely dangerous. We were treated with the utmost professionalism and received impeccable care. The state of panic I came in under was met with compassion and understanding. They were able to calm my fear with answers right away due to their immediate response and the nature of the illness. He was treated with antibiotics, given a very soft teddy bear to cuddle and take home, then was able to sleep while being monitored. Our discharge was quick and efficient, his prescription filled so I could take him straight home. ER visits are never fun, they tend to be uncomfortable and stressful, waiting hours between diagnosis, care and discharge, making the whole experience quite lengthy. Our trip to the ER department was far above the expected standard for er visits. Thank you Monument Health!"
