"We went in mid-September (a perk of homeschooling is traveling during off-season) and essentially had the place to ourselves. The mountain coaster was everyone's favorite ride and I think we rode it twenty times. We rode the zip line several times and did everything (except the ropes course, which closes after Labor Day due to staffing cuts) as many times as we could stand."
"100% worth it to buy the wristband and then play all day, especially if you have children ages 5-10. The rollercoaster is the funnest I've been on ever because you control the speed and your child can sit in the front with you. We rode it over 20 times! By the end, we chose the fastest speed all the way down. The other rides are just as great, there really was something for everyone to enjoy over and over again. My 10 year old was able to ride alone so he could pick what he wanted and meet us at the next ride. Wait times were quick and staff were interactive and friendly. I am so glad to have experienced this place with my family!"
"Came here a couple weeks ago. Lots to do, and pretty cheap if you get the bracelet. Roller coaster down the side of the mountain, zip line, gunslinger, rope obstacle course, and cave tour. Great place to take your kids to have some fun. The roller coaster doesn't go super fast, but it's a scenic ride down the mountain. The zip line was pretty cool. It's also kinda out in the middle of nowhere, so there weren't very many people, and no waiting lines for the rides. The cave tour was very interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable."
"Our family of 5 stayed 5 hours and could have hung out longer. The all day pass is the way to go unless you are only there to try one or two things. For most people one or two rides will not be enough. Caution: There are tons of stairs, slopes, and walking. We loved the coaster and the climbing area. The soaring eagle was fun but not impressive. The 7D movies were fun but not a "must do" as 1/3 of the screen wasn't working properly, a few chairs were out of order, and they are only a few minutes long. The cave tour was amazing and our tour guide was very entertaining. It is a constant 58 degrees so some were comfortable without jackets. The cave tour can be difficult for people over 6' 5" to navigate without touching the walls. There are many stairs inside the cave. I advise listening to the guide when they recommend turning your hat backward and clipping your sunglasses onto your shirt. I enjoyed imagining the cave as it was when it was first discovered and the years following. Our guide was great at creating those images:) Though spendy, we don't regret the day spent here. We arrived shortly after they opened on a Thursday and didnt have to wait in line for anything for a couple of hours. We had enough time left to visit Mount Rushmore and do the .6 mile hike there."
"So, this place should definitely be on your 'to do list' if you're in the area. The rides can seem pricey, but the wristband is totally worth it, especially if you're doing the 1 hour cave tour as well! Yes 1 hour! It is simply amazing! Plus zip lining, plus the mountain coaster, plus they have the coolest 7d theater/ life size game. Plus, they allow dogs! And if you want to enjoy stuff, then they have a little free dog kennel area in the back, with water for them!"
