"I am a return customer and will continue to return even though it’s not a 5 star in my mind. Phillis the owner who does all the treatments is very sweet, she is however notoriously late. I have had to wait a half hour on two sewerage accounts now, one in which I just left. I have never had an appointment start on time with her. Being a world traveller specifically to a lot of developing nations, I understand that this for many is just a way of life, so I give her the benefit of the doubt bc I like her as a person. But if you want professional you would expect to receive in America, this may not be your place."
"I scheduled an appointment online with Ange De La Mer after purchasing a Groupon for them. Their calendar had availability the day after thanksgiving, so I booked in the afternoon. Two days beforehand, I was called and told they weren’t open that day due to the holiday and that I would need to reschedule. Fine, but why have your online appointment calendar reflect openings when you aren’t actually open? So, I rescheduled for Saturday instead. I asked about a morning time and was told by the receptionist…”well, you may want to look more toward the afternoon. Our person tends to run a bit behind”. I saw that they closed at 5 so I asked for 4:00; again I got “you should probably make it 3:00 because she may be behind”. Wow, ok. So I booked for 3:00. At noon of the day of the appointment (today), Phyllis, the person doing my facial, called to cancel citing “all the snow and icy roads”. I had just come from being outside and driving where the salon is; the (very light) snow had stopped an hour before and the roads were basically dry. I questioned her saying this was now the second time they were cancelling on me, and she said gosh really sorry but I’m not coming in. When I tried to reschedule, which was now going to affect a chemical peel appointment that I had made a month out from the micro needling, she told me someone would have to call me back next week to reschedule because that is only done in the office, and she was at home. At that, I decided to pull the plug on this place. Then, after coming to Google and reading the reviews, I’m glad I did. I got my money refunded from the Groupon and will NOT be going here. Thank goodness; it seems like I dodged a bullet!"
"The receptionist was the only positive thing about my visit. She was the most patient, respectful and professional person in the office. As for the woman Phyllis who did my microneedling facial, was incredibly unprofessional and unorganized. My appt was double booked so they offered me a free session in the wellness pod while I wait with no health disclosures for it. I would imagine they should’ve been one like to make sure you eat and drink enough before using it because I was on the verge of passing out after I sweat out most of my body weight(and I’m a petite person) from a 45 min red light vibrating sauna session. My actual appointment started 2 hours past the scheduled start time and while I waited, her personal phone was left in the room with the sound on for every notification and typing sound, including loud obnoxious ringtones while I was supposed to be “relaxing”. Halfway through applying the numbing treatment she answered a personal phone call and chatted with a rental tenant before returning to the numbing cream application. When she came back to do the microneedling she was trying to small talk with me about her phone call with her tenant while the machine was on my face so it was very uncomfortable to try and respond. Also the room that the service was done has a big window with open blinds facing the main road, which is where you’re supposed to remove your top and put on a spa towel, which was very uncomfortable and nerve wracking considering the open window(there was a huge machine preventing me from trying to close the blinds so I had to awkwardly crunch myself into the corner to change). It was overall the least relaxing and most stressful facial I’ve experienced. She was trying to sell me on packages and products right after grazing over the aftercare process(only said no makeup for the rest of the day, no mention of avoiding exploitation or other products) and book me for another microneedling appointment a week later (which is known to be something you have to wait 4-6 weeks between sessions). The receptionist was a sweetheart who helped me stay patient during the whole experience. If it wasn’t my day off/the rare time I have for this type of skin care treatment and I wasn’t so out of it from the wellness pod thing, I would’ve had the sense and energy to complain/point out my concerns while I was there, or just leave."
"Bought a Groupon online for Microneedling and decided to give this place a shot. The lady arrives 30 minutes late and then proceeds to convince me that I needed a hydra facial for my acne scars which was a $100 upsell. She also told me to use hydrogen peroxide on my face which is obviously a huge no no. While it was a nice facial it did not help my scars and I plan to get Microneedling at another place with a less salesy and more professional staff."
"I had to wait over 45 minutes past my appointment time for the staff member to even arrive to the building. I let her know I have sensitive skin and she proceeded to be very rough with my skin leaving me with a horrible reaction like I have never had before from a facial. Staff member was also very rude and unkind. Absolutely do not recommend!"
