Reviews
"All the negative reviews are spot on. Made an appointment and waited 50 minutes after my in time to see the doctor....she has some b.s. excuse. Sounds like this routine is common here. Horrible communication skills and so disorganized. Better to go to Lone Tree....much more competent."
"If I could give no stars I would. My doctor sent my intake forms over in November and I've called repeatedly, left voicemails, only to have no one reach out to me about an appointment. Now they have possession of my personal medical information and I have no way of getting them to shred it. I guess the horrible reviews are true. Avoid this place."
"The nurses are fantastic. They have 24/7 emergency nurse support which is fantastic as well. Dr. Kroll is a great doctor. I just wish she wasn't in such a hurry all the time. I get the impression she over books. The Aurora office is a bit antiquated compared to the Lone Tree one but it's a clean facility with great people."
"Dr. Elliot or Ellison? He's horrible. They do not care about you whatsoever. Do not go here. I had major issues getting my IV to stay in place and ended up not being able to get any of the medicine I NEED. He said on the phone after I explained I didn't want to keep anything in my veins (after the nurse said if needed, I could have someone come to my house and do it for me) - "What do you expect me to do? I can't do anything for you." You'd think a doctor who has patients NEEDING their medicine every day would care a little, but no."
"Rocky Mtn Infectious Disease Specialists at 1550 S Potomac St Ste 270 Aurora, CO is in my opinion the most unorganized, antiquated , office I have ever been to. 90% of all office visits consist of me showing up on time, then waiting at least 30 - 40 mins. to be called into the back for the routine blood pressure and weigh in. Then I usually spend another 15 to 20 mins before my Dr, actually comes in to go over blood work or any of her concerns. The one time I addressed my concerns in the beginning of the visit, I felt completely humiliated because my doctor took offense, from what I believe to be breaking her normal protocol. I brought my concerns up in the beginning so I would not forget them after her discussion of blood work. In my Doctors defense I do give her much credit for spending as much time with her patients as she sees fit. My major complaint is that the front office and scheduling "department" falls short of realistically scheduling her patients. It might appear well on paper, but spending 2 1/2 hours for a routine doctors visit on a consistent basis is not professional. Running out of medication appears to be more common than not. Recently I let the office know that I was low on medication which is through express scripts mail order under my insurance coverage. Yes, there take longer to deliver meds, but i"ve learned to give Rocky Mtn Infectious Disease Specialists ample notice when running low. usually 30 notice. with the front office so unorganized I'm not sure what happens, but here I am with week left of meds and still no confirmation on my prescription order status. Express Scripts tells me they have not received conformation vs. Rocky Mtn Infectious Disease Specialists telling me they did. Don't expect an appointment reminder or an email reminder because since 2007 it has NEVER happened. Even a call to have you come in, it won't happen. you will do a lot of your own leg work in regards to seeing if they have received your blood work, or and that you need to come in. It's all up to you, I've seen sliding scale clinics perform better than this front office."
