"Dr. Barrios was a kind physician and seemed to care about my daughter's well being. While he was never able to reach any resolution for us, he was pleasant to work with. However, this practice is a mess. Had I not worked in healthcare for years, I would have been in tears. Lost records, failure to call back, cancelled appointments, incorrect billing, significant practice changes with no notice to patients (they went corporate and changed their name but we were never notified and had to hunt them down for follow up care) etc. The list just goes on and on. When you have a sick child, fighting with rude and uncaring staff is the last thing you need. Unfortunately, you work with the staff more than the doctor which makes this a bad experience. We worked over a year with this practice to never reach any resolution or referrals that were helpful. I would refer to Dr. Barrios again but not the mess of his office. Skip this frustration of this practice and go to Children's."
