"My son had extreme ear pain in his left ear and we were told it was "angry" but not an infection to treat it with ibuprofen. My son has a high tolerance of pain and very rarely needs antibiotic. He cried the whole way home, and I even pulled over and called the doctor back to make sure we weren't missing something and we were told again that he had no infection and to treat with ibuprofen and steam showers. The pain has only continued since we left that appointment on Thursday. We are at children's urgent care right now (Saturday night) because the pain has only continued and they said his ear looks absolutely horrible and that he needs antibiotic before he even leaves for the evening. They also said there was a large blister in the ear. I don't feel like we were heard during our initial appointment, and there was no follow up, even after explaining that we had concerns about continued pain. Very disappointing. We will not see this doc in the future."
