"It took six weeks from them receiving my shoes to them shipping my shoes back to me, arriving four days later. First impressions: The soles look great, the edges look factory new and grippy. I will update once I've climbed on them"

"We've had a couple of successful resoles at R&R, but two pairs we've gotten back from them recently have seen the toe rubber peeling away after only two or three sessions on them. At a price of ~$100 per pair, our money would be much better spent on new shoes, sadly. EDIT: adjusting to three stars because it appears that their warranty is supposed to deal with this. The shoes didn't fit me well enough to be worth the hassle of going through that process and shipping them again, but if you have a beloved pair of shoes this might be an okay choice. Just be prepared for it to take a couple of tries to get right."

I am a part-time guide and full time climbing fanatic and own 20+ pairs of shoes. Rock and Resole has always had me covered. They also have a nice selection of regular gear in addition to the high end obscure stuff that discerning climbers want to buy. An impressive little shop!"

"I tried having these resoled at the rubber room and they passed - retuned after keeping them for weeks (I was warned about lead times going in so this was somewhat expected). I really felt like there was something that could be done for these since the issue was really a failure of the soles they came with from 5.10 and they weren't blown out. The quality of this resole seems to be really excellent. I'm happy with the re-fit of the vibram sole. Time will tell if this will hold. If they make it another summer I will consider it a success. If they don't, I will post an update to the review. Edit added 3/29. Almost 4 months on, the repair is holding strong. At this point I consider this a total success. These are back to my main shoes outside of work. I'm confident they will have a second life this summer. Excellent!"
