"Was told they accepted the insurance, never called to verify or let you know they were having trouble verifying insurance. Figured it must be okay for the appointment considering I work in Healthcare and we contact patients if we have issues with insurance before appointment. Charged 200 for the appointment. They sent an email back 6 weeks later that they needed the insurance information that was provided to them before first appointment. You already have the information and should contact the patient before charging anything or at the start of appointment let them know there are issues with insurance. What a joke, do not recommend. Trying to get a hold of your mental health is hard enough and to add on this type of stress is not worth it."

"BLUF: The customer is nowhere to be found and speaks to why they have open availability. Counselors are great and provided insight to myself and my wife that helped us become better spouses. I’ll start with the good first. My wife and I have been seeing our provider for three weeks now. She is fair, unbiased, and does a great job with preventing blame and accusations. The availability was quick and it was easy to be enrolled and start services. The downside to all of this is that when my wife and I were trying to get in contact with someone concerning anything other than scheduling, it was the opposite. We tried over three days to speak with someone,staying on hold for over an hour only to be disconnected and when being called back the same would happen. Going into one of the locations yielded the same results with nonexistent reception staff and counselors who will ignore your presence. I waited for two hours only to have to stop someone before departing for lunch. I understand now why things were so available. If you are seeking immediate assistance, I would urge you to consider why they have such open availability."

"I chose Thriveworks for couples counseling in Jan. 2022 because they had a therapist readily available that week and they took my insurance. I gave them my insurance info and was told I was good to go.I then chose to do individual counseling because of the great experience. This month, my husband received a text message about a $650 bill for couples counseling. I call billing and the call drops after being on hold for 20 minutes. I call back and after another 30 minutes get a representative who says that they accepted Medicaid until a month before I joined. I checked to see if my individual therapy was covered to find out that I was charged $300. The representative tells me that she will send this information to a supervisor who will contact me back this week. There's been no calls and no resolution. I look at their website and it states that they accept Medicaid. They even have an option on their automated system to press 3 if you're a Medicaid patient. This place is not worth the hassle of wondering if they actually take your insurance and getting billing fixed is an absolute nightmare. I will never go back or recommend Thrive works to ANYONE."

"This is twice I’ve tried to bring my son. The first time we kept getting rescheduled to where we finally stopped trying to be seen. The second time with how desperate I was to get someone to see my son who opened up to a therapist who later during the appt said he has to find another therapist to better suit our time. It’s extremely discouraging to ones mental health especially when my son has a really hard time opening up. I was told this office was in network with my insurance but forgot to mention that providers could be out of my network. Now I am left with an almost $400 dollar bill. Had I known Lauren or Laura wasn’t in network with my insurance I would have never opted towards having my son see her. We’re in a pandemic, these are trying times both mentally and financially.. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families struggling. Each patient is a $ to each provider. Hence why they don’t accept Medicaid."

"I absolutely LOVE Thriveworks. Their pricing is very reasonable especially for the quality therapy. I’ve been working with Devon who is one of the best humans you’d ever have the pleasure of meeting. And after just 4 sessions I feel more confident and better about my past and trauma than I ever have. They are so welcoming to all religions, genders, sexualities, and backgrounds and if you’re looking for an office, this is the one! I don’t have experience with the other therapists but if they’re anything like Devon, they’ll be the absolute cream of the crop!"
