"12/10 experience with Rick at Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport! I first came following a bone spur removal on my toe and was unable to wear shoes, and after all of my sessions, left wearing shoes and able to do everything I was prior to my surgery. Rick was always incredibly helpful and informative as to why we’re doing X exercise for Y reason, and I never felt confused or in the dark about my progress. Everyone that works at this location is awesome too - I don’t think there was 1 session that I did not laugh in. Very thankful to Rick, Lucas, and Sue for all of their help and support! Going to miss seeing everyone every week :)"
"I’ve been seeing Rick for various knee and hip issues over the past six months. He’s been fantastic: not only have my issues largely resolved, but Rick also helped me to recover / strengthen in a way that complimented my training / skiing so I didn’t have to compromise on those aspects of my life. He also strikes the right balance of pushing me to improve, while not overdoing it. Highly recommend."
"I worked with Rick for 2+ months after a hamstring pull and sciatic nerve inflammation put me in severe pain. Rick was kind and welcoming, listening compassionately as I worked through the early stages of acute distress, and appropriately ramping up targeting and intensity as I recovered. He was a great resource throughout the process, and I feel confident recommending him to friends. As I leave the practice, I am confident on my ability to manage the final stages of recovery thanks to his guidance, and that I have a dependable resource if I should ever require PT again."
"I was referred here after I dislocated my patella during a hiking trip in August. During my first visit, I was immediately greeted by the entire staff - Dana, Lucas and Rick. I had never been to PT before and didn’t know what to expect, but Lucas was patient in explaining what the recovery journey would look like and how we’d reach my goal of not only having full strength and mobility of my knee back, but also to be able to return to my hobbies like hiking and snowboarding. Each week Lucas, planned targeted exercises to progressively build up my strength and ability and sent me at-home exercises through an app which was super convenient and had video demonstrations. He positively challenged me but never pushed me beyond what was uncomfortable. I couldn’t believe the progress I was seeing after each week - I went from fully relying on a brace and wincing in pain when my knee was touched or moved, to doing single leg jumps and squats with no apprehension within weeks. He often said that I was the one that “put in the work”, but he’s the one that provided a solid framework and encouraging environment to be able to improve. And while I never worked directly with Rick, he still took the time to get to know and say hello to everyone that comes through the doors, even if you’re not his patient. And Dana was always so friendly and kind during the initial registration process and subsequent check-ins. She made scheduling so easy and would always call me if another time opened up that would work better for me. Lastly, Cassidy was also great! She began there in my final 2-3 visits, but she always provided extra support and helped explain or demonstrate the exercises for me. I’m grateful for the entire team and am happy I was referred to them. In a way, I hope I never have to return (in the event of another injury), but I know that if I did need to ever return to PT, I’d come here again and again and know I’d be in good hands."
