"Andrea Burgess is an absolute godsend. I started seeing her at SCL Womens Health Group in Lafayette when I got pregnant with my son. The office in Lafayette closed and she transfered to the location in Thornton. While apprehensive of the location I wanted to continue my care with Dr. Burgess. I'm very grateful that I chose to continue my care with her. Every appointment went smoothly. I had a pretty great pregnancy experience. I went into labor 14 days before my due date I spent 48 hours laboring at home. Finally went into the hospital when I couldn't labor at home any more and thank God Dr. Burgess was able to be there to deliver my little one. I had to ultimately have a semi emergent c section. Dr. Burgess and her team made sure that my husband and I were well informed before consenting to the procedure. She answered all our questions and was honest and transparent about potential complications, allowing us to feel confident in our decision. She is an expert in her field. During my procedure I heard the other surgical assistants and attendings and med students exclaiming at how incredibly neat and clean my incision was stitched up. My son is 13 days old today and my incision is healing incredibly well. I could not have asked for a better doctor to bring my son into the world. I know whatever practice Dr. Burgess moves to will be absolutely lucky to have her. Thank you Dr. Burgess for everything you've done for my family. I am so incredibly grateful to you.
