Your insurance ceased on the Expiration date shown above” in bold red lettering: Terrifying as a home owner Also in IMPORTANT EXPIRATION NOTICE document: "The mortgagee on your policy has not paid the premium due to keep your policy in force. Please make the payment below to void lapse in coverage". To void the lapse implies it had lapsed: Done, paid online Second check mailed to address of 10 months for my agent of seven years. Not deposited due to snow storm: Pathetic Inability of Farmers to use 21st century banking practices to deposit check: Priceless! Introducing myself by opening with “So your the one causing me so much stress”: Brutally honest if not provocative Eric Holmes the “Insurance Professional” first words out of his mouth, “You didn’t need to do that” referring to my PAYING THE BILL AS DIRECTED by Farmers to void the lapse in coverage: Scolding the client for paying is very unprofessional & lacks empathy for our situation as we know it to be Being visibly stressed and on edge in their workplace: Understandable, unavoidable due to treatment right to the end. Yes. Nothing but escalation at every turn Wondering where we turn now for quality service?: Unknown as of yet I must say that having been with Farmers since the late 90’s has kept us on my toes. A couple years ago with no warning I noticed in the Farmers app that the home policy was about to increase substantially. The Philip George agency provided what my wife & I considered an excellent 4 hour review of our policy and got us back to a manageable number. There are some very bizarre billable items that we were made aware of like metal etching coverage for $500.? We have vinyl windows and sliding door. And there’s others that I truly don’t get but were resolved then. I took them a nice box of wonderful pretzels with a cheese sauce & a mustard from Mark Anthony’s in Colorado Springs as a thank you. Still grateful for past experiences. I’m sure you can be treated well in most cases if you use them. I will end with that."
