Reviews
"I have only been enjoying ky child for two months"
"As a sponsor I love the way OneChild customizes the way they help the kids to address the specific needs in each community - and it's led by the local people in the areas where they work. Plus they support a home for abandoned babies in Kenya and a rescue home for child victims of trafficking in the Philippines (many rescued by IJM - another organziation I love). Now that I've had the chance to work for OneChild I love them even more becuase of the genuine care I experience from leadership and the way I'm treated with dignity and have a chance to really give input and be heard."
"OneChild is an agile and innovative global organization serving children in poverty and it is also an awesome place to "work" (if you can call it that when you're doing what you love for such a great cause!). The culture of the organization is excellent, warm, hard-working and inclusive thanks to awesome people. Keep an eye on this "50-year-old start-up" as great things are happening here!"
"Colorado always defers to “compassion International” to feed the poor children with nutrition and medical care. not One Child Matters. I’ve asked several people about supporting children overseas in poverished areas. I for one was not trained/ which is expected. Operations manager can’t manage and people working here are very narrow minded. I would not recommend changing your career path and work for a place like this. Operations spends more time on lavish lunches than in the office and thinks he has the answers. I’m shocked at the mind set of people working here. So happy that God took me out of here- NO I wasn’t let go - I was given a choice and the choice was to be with my daughter who is fighting cancer. Look at other reviews of love and compassion this place has- there was no compassion and consideration for my child’s diagnosis as stated in interview-“we will work with you.” No they did not! God will help those in need and take care of those who are corrupt and lack leadership skills and put themselves in forefront before anyone else. Companies is based on management; who is the manager? Management of Finance was poor. Manager had his title go to his head and did t want to help at all. Complained of helping and after 30 days places you on probation if you have to ask more or need more. This is same manager that came to work about an hour and half after I did and left a few hours before me. Took long lunches but loved his title of Operations Manager. Poor management skills and needs a lot of work. Not ready to be leader due to being so self observed."
"There’s been such a culture of change over the last 1.5 years, and it’s been so good! I’ve had the opportunity to travel to other countries with OCM, and the work happening in the field is overwhelming- in a good way! The leadership team empowers its employees to seek opportunities for process change and efficiency. Personal growth is recognized and poured into, and we even have fun at work! Couldn’t ask for a better work family and purpose every single day."
