"The donuts were super fresh when I visited! The Homer was hands down my favorite it cured my sweet tooth! I will be back!"
"Hi Hurts Donuts! I often get up between 1:00 and 3:00 a.m. and go into work early to get things done. Very few restaurants are open at that hour. This morning, knowing you're open "25/8," I drove from my home in Elbert County to your store with plans to pick up a few yummy donuts and head back to my office, which is nearly all the way back to EC. I arrived and found a sign on the door saying you're no longer open between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. due to short staffing. I was disappointed. It's a significant commitment in gas and time to make the drive. Your website and Google entry still say you're open "25/8." It will be a long morning without breakfast. (I'm overweight and can benefit from the fast, but involuntary fasts are no fun.) Please help your customers out. Don't make us waste our time and money. Update your online information when your hours change. I love your donuts, but I probably won't come back in the early hours, because I can't be sure you'll be open when I arrive. I'm guessing a few other potential customers, (maybe not many at that hour but perhaps a few), had the same disappointing experience. We know it's hard to find good help. We want your small business to succeed, just like you do. Totally understand. But please let us know before we make a long drive. It's the right thing to do. Thanks for your understanding. P.S. I would have e-mailed your store directly, rather than posting here, but your website doesn't allow that. Update: Thanks, Hurts Donuts, for reaching out with such a quick response. I appreciate businesses that care about their customers. May your business tribe increase. :)"
"Stopped in for the rare occasion to get a couple of donuts and take home to surprise the wife. Excellent staff and help on a Friday morning. I need to remember to take pics next time. Good donuts with a clever slogan. Worth the try if your in the area and want a good donut. They're also open much later than most other donut shops!"
"I've been passing by here for a while and never had time to stop until today. The donuts looked great and everything we took home seemed really good. But we just didn't feel quite welcomed, from three separate people. Even my kiddo, who is usually oblivious, felt it. We ordered lattes; they took a while and then, they were terrible. Little flavor, a little burned, and (literally) lukewarm. With this exciting menu, we expected something fabulous. I know they are a donut, not a coffee shop but perhaps don't offer these options if you can't excel. They had some fabulous flavors of coffee beans at the front counter but none of them were offered for brewed, just a cup. I would have blown over the latte bit if I could have tried one of the flavors as a plain coffee but was not going to risk it. :("
"Amazing donuts. No decaf coffee is surprising, but the donuts will make it home with you. The people are very nice. The loud rap music wasn't good for the atmosphere, but did I mention that the donuts are really good?"
