"We had a great stay except for the beds. Worst nights of sleep I have had. They felt like sleeping on a trampoline. Every time my husband moved, there was a loud bang from the corner of the bed and I would bounce around. My back hurt terribly - I am a side sleeper. Otherwise the room was large and great for my family of 4. Breakfast was good. Pool was ice cold but the hot tub was nice. We liked the location, easy to get to all the things."
"The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was nice and large. The breakfast omelettes were yummy, and the fresh fruit was great. The service was mostly good. We were given a large room which made us enjoy our stay all the more. Slept like a baby. FYI they charge early check in fee even for Diamond members. We arrived very early due to the X games and specifically chose this hotel for early check- in benefit. The manager wanted to charge $50 to check in early… we declined. The manager either wanted to pull a fast one or was sleepy or confused because he was going to charge us $50 check in fee after we declined the early check-in due to the fee. Luckily we noticed and then the manager stopped himself. We just put our stuff in our car and left to our event. However, last month in Ireland we were allowed to check in early at like 7am due to Diamond status with no extra fee, so this was extremely odd that they want to charge Diamond members. We chose this hotel not for its location but for its benefits so FYI to others in case it makes or breaks your decision."
"Heads up to families with small kids: Room is clean but needs major renovations. Sharp Nails showing where the carpet and tile meet. Not acceptable for guests with children. Sides of the walls are hanging. Outlets are not updated. We had to go to the lobby to charge our phones. Pool looks gross.. it is a yellow/green color and appears stagnant. (We are diamond members) Front desk lady was nice and the woman running the breakfast was great as well."
"View of the colorful mountains are unbelievable from the hotel room. Food variety for the breakfast buffet is really good. I feel refreshed after a warm bath and well rested and ready for the next stop somewhere. Colorado gateway is exactly what a good doctor will prescribe!"
"Great location, can walk to Iron Mountain and Glenwood hot springs pools. We got to bring our dog along for fall break as well. Kids love the pool and breakfast. Back patio is a beautiful secluded place! We had a room on the 3rd floor facing the road. Road noise was loud. Room heat/cool units are also incredibly loud. Pool needed to be cleaned, workout room was great."
