"My cute affordable place. Shelly made the entire process almost effortless and so easy the entire time. I definitely appreciate everything she did to make my move in quick and easy!"
"Elias Leal did an amazing job fixing our washer! We put a request and he was here next day in the morning! He also changed our bathroom lightbulbs without us asking. He goes the extra mile on his services! Thank you Elias!"
"If I could leave 0 stars I would - I want to share my utmost frustration and disappointment in my dealings with Rockridge Apartment Homes and their property management team. The level of mismanagement we encountered during this experience was a complete disaster, this is a glaring example of inept management. Here's the situation: My uncle passed away on August 27th, 2023. At that time, Rockridge and our family had reached a verbal agreement allowing us 30 days to vacate the property, meaning we had until September 27th, 2023, to complete the move. However, on September 19th, at approximately 12 pm, my uncles son received a call that left us bewildered and outraged. Property manager Kylie Marshall had given the green light to leasing agent Sherry to rent out my uncle's unit, even though we still had 8 days left within the agreed-upon 30-day period. What's truly astounding is that they only informed us of this decision after they had already rented out the apartment and had new tenants moving in that same day! To add insult to injury, we were given a mere one-hour ultimatum to remove my uncle's belongings, under the threat that failure to comply would result in his possessions being placed in a storage container owned by Rockridge. They also planned to charge us daily storage fees from my uncle's security deposit which they had also stated would be returned in full due to my uncle only living there a short 2 months and working majority of the time. The lack of prior communication with my uncle's son, who could have ensured the timely retrieval of belongings, is baffling. Equally baffling is the property management and leasing team's decision to backtrack on the initially offered 30-day notice, a period we had not requested but had been granted, purportedly out of kindness. I want to make it clear that we did not seek those 30 days; Rockridge extended them to us. This entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It is a disturbing illustration of the kind of treatment some landlords subject their tenants to. Lastly, rather than taking responsibility for their oversight, Rockridge chose to gaslight the tenants family into believing that we were in the wrong. However, our actions were entirely based on the 30-day notice that had been granted to us by property manager Kylie Marshall. Reminder, our family still had 8 days to remove our deceased family members property. It raises a valid question: If the 30-day notice wasn't a valid arrangement, how is it possible that my uncle's belongings were allowed to remain in the apartment for three weeks after his passing? It's clear that they acted prematurely and without due consideration."
"Kylie was awesome to work with and got our apartment ready for us in a timely manner. It was clean with new carpet. Elias the maintenance guy was very nice, and got our minor issues fixed right away. We are very pleased so far with our experience!"
