"Brought in two watches to have the bands changed and they said that it wasn't possible to change them even though I've had them changed multiple times before. Took them to Armato's right up the street and he changed them both in five minutes. Don't go here, go to Armato's instead."

"My wife took two rings there to be sized down. They said it would take them a week and would call when they were ready. After 8 days she dropped by to pick them up and they still weren't ready. Two days later went by again. They still had not called but luckily they were finally ready. Charged her $70 dollars!!! Hope that helps with their retirement!!! No wonder they are going out of business!!! Very slooow and overpriced!!! Lady who works there said the jeweler can't see very well. Definately time to close up shop. Like going to a surgeon who can't see and will take 8 hours to do an operation that should take 2!!!! Extremely unhappy and glad to see them close."

"The owners are old and are old school. Their only store is no frills. But you also don't have a 21 year old kid exhorting you to drop more than you want on something. If you tell them you want some diamond earrings for your wife for $200, they will tell you to be realistic. They don't mince words. However, I have shopped their prices and quality and they offer high quality stuff for a good price. The only comparison to their prices is online. They also are very reasonable for jewelry repairs. I'm smart enough to know better than shopping at a jewelry chain for prices and I feel like I'm getting the truth from them on quality. Btw, I don't live in Lakewood, I just like finding great stores for great value."
