"This guy is a fraud - just ask the police and the BBB. If you wonder about the positive reviews on Google, you don't have to research too hard to find out they are all part of the setup. For example, look at the photo of the reviewer "Marion Mayberry" and then do a Google search for "Nancy B. Jackson, Chemical Security Leader" . . . do those photos look familiar? I could go into my whole terrible experience with Colorado Furniture Repair here, but if you read the negative reviews you'll get the picture."

"CURRENTLY HATING IT!! I write this review still hoping that I will see my three family pieces again! When I emailed Jerald at Colorado Furniture Repair Co. with pictures of my buffet, vanity and magazine table for a quote, he responded very quickly and the price was fair. He picked up the pieces the next day (March 31) taking a $400 deposit and telling me two weeks for turn around. I thought the time seemed short for the work, so when two weeks went by I didn't think much of it. I had emailed him asking for measurements and he responded promptly. I emailed Jerald on Apr 14 asking for an update, he responded that he was not even planning to start them till after Easter. I told him that I was confused because that timeline was nowhere close to what he has initially told me, he responded apologizing for the mix up and said he would start them sooner. He then emailed to confirm color and I have not heard from him since, that was Apr 14, it is now May 22. This man now has three beloved family pieces and $400. I hope this review stops someone else from making the same mistake!! It is now June 9th, we have asked the credit card to get the $400 deposit back because we still have not heard anything back from Jerald. The money was the least of what we wanted back, still hoping we'll see our family pieces again,"

"BEWARE! Looks like we were duped by a con man. We were concerned about the other low rating review but he (Jerald Dougherty - owner) was quick to explain it away and gained our trust. He came to our home and picked up 3 very important family pieces and said "two weeks". We thought that sounded aggressive and sure enough it has now been 2 months and he won't return email or phone calls. Looks like he has stolen our three pieces and $400 deposit (a felony). After looking around more they have an "F" rating with the BBB and there are other websites with very negative reviews similar to our story. Good luck if you decide to take a chance with this "business"."

"We started with the restoration/refinishing of our grandmothers antique rocking chair. It was in pretty bad shape, even though it was a family heirloom it mangaed to get stored in our storage area......where it was affected by moisture at the base. When we got the rocking chair back we couldnt belive how beautiful it was.....I asked for it to not look brand new, but like it held up very well over the years. They were spot on.......I have the before and after pictures on my fb page and they got over 100 comments. Needless to say we were very happy with the men at Colorado Furniture Repair Co. We now have our family dining room set there and we are paying with our tax refund. I am sure it will be as beautiful as our georgious rocking chair. Thank you Marion Mayberry 1765 S..........."
