"I can't speak to their ability to fix watches as I did not use their service, but I brought in a vintage Timex I had gotten on ebay to see if a middle position was supposed to be on the crown to set the date. I don't know who I spoke to, but he fiddled with it for a while, and said that it may have been designed without the middle position, which is fine. As we talked he told me that Timexs are "not worth fixing" because they're is so inexpensive it would be cheaper to replace than to repair. I strongly object to this attitude. As if the only things worth repairing are expensive items. As if nobody cares about the modest things they have. This watch isn't sentimental for me, but it could have been. Do better."
