"I was charged a convenience fee without prior communication. I wouldn't have been aware of it if I hadn't requested the receipt. They conspicuously refrain from providing a receipt unless specifically asked for."
"My mom lives in Lafayette and I order wine for her from Summit through the Drizly app. Sometimes the app shows that they are out of her favorite wine so I have to order something else. That happened this week, but the people at Summit saw the order and realized that it was not what she would really want and took her the correct wine and credited me for the difference. What great customer service! Thank you Summit Wine! You are the best!"
"1-6-23 New guy that works there did not put all of the drinks I brought to the counter in the bag, i wasn't checking why would I? Theyve never not put my items in the bag before. It's too much of an inconvenience to go back for 2 drink.. that's still messed up my item was not put in the bag before i left after paying for it. Get him out of there"
"There are three liquor stores within a mile of this one but somehow they have the highest prices and the lowest service levels. Please go to any other one, these guys do not deserve your business. I stopped going here because of the service about six months ago. I gave them another shot tonight and they’ve only gotten worse. Their prices were about 15% more than I expected (based on recent, similar purchases from the aforementioned other local shops). I tried to shop the whisky aisle but some dude just stood there in my way. He saw me, stepped slightly out of the way, and didn’t acknowledge me so I figured he was just another customer. I made a remark to him and another guy in the aisle about picking something out - nothing, zero response. While I was checking out, the same guy wandered behind the counter and restocked some stuff. That’s just bad customer service by any metric. The guy at the register asked if I was a member and then immediately decided he couldn’t find me in the system. I mentioned that the prices were high and he ignored it. So I mentioned that a couple weeks ago I got the same bottle for $5 less across the street. Still, no comment. Seriously, if you’re going to overcharge, at least have the decency to acknowledge it when you get called on it. Please go elsewhere to support a local liquor store. The other ones really seemed to appreciate my business and they have lower prices. Win-win at other shops, this one has nothing to offer."
"They are specializing in wines that are not mainstream! But they are great deal! They have tastings from 5 to 7 on Thursdays. A great chance to try different wines!"
