"The security of this apartment complex is poor at best Iv had a car and motorcycle stolen and my truck broken into all from under a “well lit” carport that the birds defecate all over my vehicles that I had to pay extra for they do not have security patrol anymore and don’t have cameras either I have since had to get 2 garages to attempt to keep my vehicles safe aswell as installed cameras inside my apartment for security reasons and I’m not the only one that has trouble with vandalism to their vehicles currently there is someone going around smashing windows on cars and we are being told they can’t do anything about it!!! UNACCEPTABLE I will not be renewing my lease I will say that the staff is friendly and maintenance personnel is phenomenal but that being said security is obviously not their top priority my wife doesn’t even feel safe taking our dog out at night I’m active duty army and deploying to Korea for 9 months and don’t feel safe leaving my wife here alone so she’s moving back home"
"I want to start out by saying Anita Abeyta in the office is a very professional assistant manager! She is always helping me since we moved here back in January of 2019! She is very friendly and listens to any questions or concerns we may have and deals with them in a timely manner! Now for the apt itself is nice however the walls/floors are thin and you can definitely hear neighbors easily, We live on the Alturas side. Some of the residents have no care that they live in an apt and are loud in the parking lot at 2am on a Monday or Wednesday. Some of them like to rev up their engines and speed off (be nice to get speed bumps). When they do that it’s extremely LOUD and especially startling at 5AM! We personally have a numbered parking spot, however we have had to call towing at LEAST 20 times because people park in our spot, The towing company knows us and are friendly too. Trash bins are evenly located yet residents are rude, nasty and disrespectful by not putting the trash in the bins, they just leave it or if they miss they don’t pick up their mess, Hard to pin point who it is since we don’t stalk the trash pin. We do report it to office but again without knowing which residents it is makes it difficult to hold them accountable. Overall the staff is fantastic & Anita is awesome, if ya don’t mind some residents being rude and ungrateful for the environment or to other residents from time to time then I’d say this is a place for you. If you expect peace & quiet daily and every second I’d rethink."
"Living in the Bellaire Ranch and Alturas Apartments has been a pleasant experience. The staff, especially Leslie, have been very helpful in answering all of our questions and attending to maintenance in a timely manner. My husband and I had to move out sooner than expected, but Leslie and the entire Bellaire Ranch staff have been extremely flexible and understanding, especially during these times of COVID. Thank you so much for all you do! We will miss living at Bellaire Ranch and Alturas."
"Managed by Bellaire Ranch Apartments right next door. NOTE: If you ever pay the $300 late fee, save yourself some future trouble and get the case closed at El Paso county court and keep for your records. Their lawyers, just like office staff, lack good record keeping and follow up so it took me a year to get it straight before I could rent again. (When you pay late they automatically open and get judgment for eviction but they never close it off your file at the courthouse) The only solution was to move out. Many others continue to leave, I was the longest term tenant in my building even being there just one year. Management in training should have access to all processes and that is not the case. It is a shame that they cannot enforce the dog poop issue and the litter issue and did not inform us about the post office no longer delivering mail due to theft. TIP: listen to tenants and act like you care by doing something to resolve, find out the answers before negatively affecting tenants. I loved my apartment but the office staff has issues. No ones perfect but when you mess up you should know how to apologize. Also they cannot manage to keep property clean, in the complex they never clean the breezeways so they’re stained and filthy."
"It is very unfortunate that I have to speak so negatively about this Apartment Complex. It is actually pretty decent if you focus only on the living space of the apartment itself. Before I get into the main issue, which is management lacking in terms of taking care of their tenants, parking spaces are very limited and are extremely narrow. The first issue that ignited the frustration I had with the management is that I just got back from a 31 day Field Training Exercise in Ft. Irwin and I find out my dog has worms again for the 4th time. This worries me because de-worming treatments shouldn't be given to a dog as often as mine received it. Despite being concerned for my dog's health, I can only get so frustrated at other owners for not picking up after their dogs, but what's even more frustrating is that management has failed to fix the issue. They posted what their Pet agreement was all over the complex, which is a $50 fee for not picking up after their pet, yet all they did was reiterate their pet policy, nothing else was implemented. What transformed my frustration to anger is that their Property Manager is currently enrolled in college. This makes it extremely difficult to reach them during the office hours that they have posted on their website and on the door of their actual office. I tried to get a hold of the leasing office for over 5 hours during their business hours and no one was able to get back to me. The relevance of why their property manager being a current student is a negative impact is because they only have one person running the office. They do not have anyone else employed to be a reception attendant to at least record the tenant issues and get them to the property manager. I understand that people tend to enjoy not having management constantly observing their every move, however it brings a sense of comfort to at least have the presence of an employee nearby to answer your questions or give clarity on the Apartment Policies, lease, pet, and other agreements. If you're military, I would not recommend this Apartment at all. 4 ID is a fast paced, high intensity training Division. You will be constantly training and away from home. If you're expecting to get a hold of the office for issues that you want taken care of while you're away, don't plan on it. Just do yourself a favor and find another place that cares about their tenants."
