"This place isn't very sturdy, the floors are extremely creaky everywhere you step and the wind howls through the windows because they aren't sealed right, but other than that, this place was cool"

"Can't complain much about the condition of the home, though there are some issues I would like to have addressed in the home. To include a cracked upstairs toilet. However, my biggest concern is the noise issue I have with my neighbor. Though this is community living I expect to have courteous neighbor's and if not that management will take action to rectify the situation. Tooo date this has not been the case. It's to the point now where I almost have to call daily to complain as they are up at 7 am and it sounds like a royal rumble is taken place next door. This is unsatisfactory. And is becoming more and more of an issue. The low rating you see is a direct result of me being woken up every morning at 7 am or earlier because of neighbor noise and it been allowed to continue."

""So far it has been an amazing experience living here in the community. Everyone is very respectful of each other. The staff here are really good and helpful. If we have any issues they are quick to respond and fix the issue.""

"So, I have changed the rating FOR A REASON! The property manager who has finally been placed as a permanent manager is just awesome! His name is Jonathan and he has done a lot of property beautification since taking over for the old manager. He actually takes the time to listen to his residents' gripes and complaints. He does what he can to get them addressed asap and crazily enough Maintenance has stepped up their game as well since he took over! Jonathan is finally going to make Aspen Townhomes a wonderful place to live again, especially with the help of Mike and Nino the maintenance managers. Keep Up The Amazing Attitudes and Hard Work!"

"I am being generous with the 4 stars as the first year here was more of a 1 star. I would give a less rating if I did this a year ago. New management is awesome though! The recent changes to management have made things better. I feel they actually listen now and not just put it on the back burner. When we moved in the new upgrades weren't all done as promised. Had to send an excel spreadsheet list to several people in the company of everything that was wrong and took 6 months to get part of the list somewhat completed, poorly. Had to call again to get the same things fixed because they weren't done well the first time. Been through 4 managers since being here a year and half ago. Several maintenance crews, some that obviously did not have the skills needed to do the work. I've been calling my unit the lipstick on a pig unit as they have painted over so many layers of old paint and gunk on walls and the cabinets. Was promised new cabinets in the kitchen but then was told by the owner of the property they were fine. I'm sure he wouldn't want these cabinets in his home. They are over 30 yrs old, warped shelves, and layers of paint that make it so the top layer just chips off. So I have to call them out for touch ups every 6 months or so. Had to fight to get the water damaged vanities in the bathrooms replaced. Ended up with one that is newer looking but has water damage at the base. Now that Kara is in the office, things I have pointed out to her were corrected immediately, and even a mention of refilling the playgrounds with mulch was listened to. They were a big safety hazard."
