"I called to schedule a tour for a three bedroom apartment that is listed for availability at the beginning of April and they told me on the phone that they won’t have anything ready till the end of July and when I told her what their website says she got an attitude with me and told me their website is through a third party and they don’t control it. Well maybe y’all should handle your own website so people aren’t getting mislead by your “available apartments”. False advertisement"

"Prospective tenant here. So far so good! While a buddy and I intend to move very soon, Amber and the leasing office were VERY helpful. As apartments were getting low, she prequalified/preleased to hold the apartment we would be getting, among so many other things! While I could go into detail about everything Amber did for us during the prelease process, I will just say that it is amazing to have office staff this friendly. Out of the past three apartments Ive had, this is by far the friendliest staff. I see these negative comments and think to myself it is something I would have to see about. Overall, prices are good and cheap, decent part of town, and they really just want to help people get back on their feet, regardless of your background! Update: The move in process was a hassle, however, not due to any Leasing Office faults after speaking with them. I would leave a 5-star review, but after moving in and completing the move in inspection, there was a lot that was questionable. Primarily the sturdiness of the Kitchen sink and Countertops, and the bathroom. The bathroom looked like it was only partially cleaned, and the kitchen sink and countertops are VERY loose. The exterior could use some TLC, especially by my building and they should enforce picking up after your animals more or hire someone to pickup after people who dont pick up after themselves on the property exterior. One rock area is nearly 100% animal excretion. Not to mention the water has been off in my building for 2 hours minimum each day since move-in on 03/18. Overall, for the price in todays housing market, there is not much to complain about. I have been here close to a week now and it is a good place. I have met many nice people and made friends with a few neighbors, alongside shops and convenience stores all being within a 5 to 10 minute drive depending on traffic. Im content so far!"

"I honestly do like living here. I’m not the friendliest person by no means. I did get off to a rocky start with the new management team, but I honestly thought about it. Fact is they have issues with tenants, and they are trying very hard to correct these issues in the best way possible. Maintenance literally came to fix the plumbing as the sink was overflowing from the pipe onto the floor within minutes of my call. They even vacuumed the water up with a shop vac and took care of business. The apartment management team only wants people to clean up after themselves because when you don’t you create pest infestations. They did have a minor bug problem, but they’ve been spraying every Tuesday now, and I’ve noticed no bugs since they started. The last team that was here didn’t care, and this team is having to pick up the slack which I am certain is very stressful. Thank you all to Montecito Management! As you have all changed my opinion for the better. So 5-Stars!"

"Don’t expect much of anything from this company. I moved out 2 months ago, left messages and a forwarding address and email with the company still waiting to hear anything from them about getting my deposit back. Just bare minimum stuff that one would expect from a property management company still seems like it’s too much. You can never get ahold of the front office, even going into the office in person seems like you are being a burden. All the negative reviews that have been mentioned are all 100% accurate after living there for the past 2 years. Not many good cheap options in Colorado Springs but this is definitely not one of them. 10/10 would avoid"

"I currently live here and this place is horrible. The maintenance person is disrespectful and don't want to do his job, the building is built cheap as I'm discovering while living here. None of the cabinets and fixtures are brand new mostly is everything is reused from previous tenants. How they get you to rent with them, during the walk through everything looks good because they painted over the cabinets to make it look new, But it's old old and dishwasher barely work because it's always flooding. They disregard you when you need anything to get fixed, but if you late on one rental payment they're ready to evict quicker than you blink. They Management is trash. I'm not saying this because I'm salty, but it's true. I'll advise you to listen to issues of complaints because it's definitely true. Don't be like me and disregard the multiple complaints. Find a place that appreciate their tenants and sincerely want to make their place your home and not just looking at you like a next $1,000+ dollars. I hope that you all find a place that values you as a human being."
