"Nice apartments and kind staff. However the stove in the kitchen is tiny. The flooring is super cheap and hope they choose different flooring at some point."
"I've lived here for 5 months and there have been 4 new managers. The apartments are old and the windows freeze over in winter. There is trash everywhere, no one picks up after their dog, and those that do leave the poo bags at the front entrance because no one ever picks up the garbage from the pet waste bin and it is overflowing. There were homeless people living in a bush behind the building. so. much. trash. Highway noise 24/7 but good view of pulpit rock. Area is pretty cool so maybe look down the street but don't live here. There are about 20 open apartments because even the people that live here don't want to and they're leaving."
"I remember when I first moved into these apartments in late 2019. They used to have nice people, a relatively decent management, and a nicer community. Now they have significantly declined in everything from courtesy to cleanliness. Don’t live here. They might make it seem great to live there at first but after a while, they’ll start raising your rent and throwing in hidden charges and won’t even bother telling you. My rent literally went up almost $300 from the initial move in to the last month I was there. Not to mention, you won’t get much back from your deposit. I only got $80 back from my deposit for a ton of costs that should have been covered by regular wear and tear. They charged me $200 for paint. I had maintenance come in and tell me my apartment was clean, well kept and should not receive any charges. But lo and behold, $800 charges. Ridiculous. They never answer the phone, nobody is ever in the office, the supposed “24 hour emergency” line isn’t answered, there’s a lack of communication between the office workers, and they only open their pool one month out of the entire year. There are just so many things wrong with this place that it is too long to write into one review. Short story: Don’t even bother considering this place. You can get a much better apartment elsewhere with better management."
"BEWARE OF CHESTNUT SPRINGS APARTMENTS. Lived in this apartment complex for exactly 1 year and could not wait to leave! Consistent flooding from toilet, bathtub and water heater. Maintenance is consistently changing so you’ll never fully know who is going to come by to assist you, If they ever do.. I was left to clean up the water that SHOT out of my toilet on my own and if you do manage to have a plumber come out, it’ll be about an hour, so you’ll just have to deal with the flooding on your own in the meantime. Afterwards, you’ll be charged over $200 for them to simply confirm that there’s a septic issue. Leasing Office is always closed with no one honoring the hours displayed on their wall, and when there is someone there, they’re in a hurry to leave. This is not the apartments I would recommend if you’re a family, a couple or even by yourself. There are better apartments out there. Don’t waste your time here. This is to save anyone the headache."
"Called in to get a move-in estimate, which has not been a problem with any of the other 15 properties I have called today. However, the Resident Manager at this place is VERY unprofessional and rude. You have to apply (Get your credit ran), for any type of estimate on your rent, lease terms, utilities cost, security deposit, etc.. How hard is it to give potential residents an estimate range? Seems very lazy to me. Thank you for letting me know up front what kind of place this is before I even apply. Your unprofessionalism saved me time and money :)"
