Alta Springs Apartments

"PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT MOVING IN. I don’t even do reviews and I really wish I could be putting a positive review but sadly I’m not. I was suppose to move in January 29,2024 after I was told that I have been accepted. Me and my case worker that was helping me find a place since I’m not from out here and I’m still healing from just having a baby and PTSD for serving 4 years and the military, felt like and still feel like Management have been super funny acting after we told them about updated laws on why they couldn’t deny me (for the reasons why they was trying to deny me) we had already figured they was going to try everything to not have me move in. After getting a money order for my move in cost I was called the AFTERNOON of (When they told me I was accepted a week prior) that I couldn’t move in and said my application was “Denied”. I’m also getting charged for a move out cost for a place that I didn’t even get to see. There was other red flags that I totally overlooked because as y’all can see it is a VERY nice looking place to live but definitely believe these comments because I overlooked them and the comments was right about EVERYTHING they said. The management needs to do better and I pray they get there."

"The staff here have had a lot on their plate, and yet they still are attentive to me and my boyfriend needs. The property is maintained a lot better than most apt complex in Denver. The flex payments available for rent are super helpful when we are on a tighter budget as well. We have been here since Sept 2023 and love it so far!"

"Hello, Alta Springs is the best place I lived in in years. I like how service requests are completed quickly. The staff is always happy and friendly. When walking into the office, you're greeted with a smile; it's a welcoming environment. I've known Denise Ayon for years, and she greeted me with happiness and introduced me to her co-workers even before I got approved for the apartment. I like how Shannon, Denise, Aliana, and Jonathan treat each other like a family; Denise said she loved her Job. It seems they are all comfortable in their positions. Being professional and friendly will bring future residents into the community; they all participate when showing properties and assignments and work together as a team. The most crucial factor in my contribution to the survey is the Staff. They are the most exceptional in the Alta Springs community because of their communication, professionalism, and friendly approach to the residents and future residents. "Loved the apartment itself. Maintenance at times took so long I just repaired the issues myself. The area is not the best, there were multiple times I found homeless people staying in the stairwell, I did call the Security company. Gun shots at night, catalytic converters stolen. Homeless people sleeping in the park next to the complex harassing residents walking their dogs. We were there for 2 years, the price jump from the previous year was eye opening. Unfortunately due to circumstances we had to bite the bullet and stay for the second year. After leaving come to find out that they are renting a similar apartment a significant amount less than what were renting for. When they were repaving the parking lot, they sent out a notice to move your vehicle by 8am or it would be towed at the owners expense. This was not a issue since I leave for work at 7am. When I exited the building the crew was already working and my car was towed. When I asked the front desk, and explained that my car was towed prior to their notice. I told them that I was not going to pay the towing fee. The manager rushed out of her office yelling that I was going to pay. I waited for that bill but it never came, small victory. Then the exit fees!! I agree that we owe the building electricity while we were there. They charged us $300 for the final month! Plus $50 cleaning fee, when I asked the Corporate office what exactly we missed when we cleaned the apartment when we left, she replied that "they had it professionally cleaned for the next tenants." To me this is a cost of business. Another $50 fee for painting the apartment, I asked why was the apartment painted there was no damage to the walls, she replied "Of course we have to paint, there are germs on the walls." I said were not going to pay these fees, she told me she was not going to remove these fees and told me "good luck." Then hung up on me."

"I see the reviews of this apt complex are mixed and mostly negative so I decided to post my recent experience which has been incredible! (Perhaps there is new management, I am unsure). I am overly qualified to rent here but since I mostly live in the mountains, I needed an affordable place to escape the snow and so I selected Alta Springs. I had trouble with the application for reasons unknown but Maggie and Shannon were amazing at helping with the process. The apartment needed a small repair and the service request was handled quickly and professionally. Thank you Cameron! The office staff are friendly, professional and responsive making the entire process a breeze. Alta Springs is a great value, in a great location, and so far my experience has been wonderful. A special shout out to Shannon and Maggie for all their assistance!"
