Everleigh Central Park

"As an active member of The Grands of Central Park, I just want to say how grateful and honored I feel to be apart of this amazing group. I also want to express my gratitude to The Everleigh, to Mark, Angie, Bethany, and staff for their constant and warm reception, routinely facilitating us monthly for our cooking club, weekly for our Grand Ambassadors Jam Practices and our occasional live music performances. Over the last couple of decades, I have had many personal experiences in other retirement communities / facilities as I have helped with aging parents and I will say this place truly has it all. If and when the time comes for us to give up homeownership and transition to a retirement community, this definitely would be the place!"

"I've been here over a year so I can now describe how I feel about Everleigh Central Park. The facilities make it possible to find things that you'd like to do or learn. Facilities are used by a great staff for social events, movies, monthly birthday celebrations, etc. But the facilities are also used for resident-lead activities. For example, we have a monthly breakfast where some of us cook eggs and sausages and others bring baked goods, deserts, and other breakfast goodies when the come for breakfast. Our turnout is around 80 people so we get a chance to mingle and often meet new residents. You can always find people who share your interests or are happy to teach you something. We have gardeners, woodworkers, artists, walkers, cooks; discussion groups. The building's are well maintained. Pets are welcome everywhere. There are parks just a 5 or 10 minute walk away, and shopping is convenient whether by car or on foot. I moved to Colorado from a house in New York to an apartment and was a little anxious about such a big change. I had nothing to fear. The residents turned out to be the friendliest and most caring group of people I've met. I think anyone considering a 55 plus community in Denver, should take a tour and meet the staff before they make a final decision."
