The Wesley Apartments

"Visited a family member for the night, and my car was towed. Had to pay $400 to get it back because the signs stating you need a permit are not easily read since they are right at the entrance of a busy street. Went to talk to the property manager, and the result of the conversation was just "I'm sorry, and there's a contract with Wyatts towing." I am at this complex daily sometimes for hours on end, and I have never once been told about the visitor fee. Not to mention that the family member living here was not told about the visitor fee when signing the lease. There have been nights I've left later than the time my car was towed. I understand that the property manager has higher ups that she reports to and I respect that, but the fact that their signs are so close to the entrance that you could easily get rear ended at is obsurd. After I got my car back, I had to run back to grab a few things and went to make the payment, but the website wasn't even working. Also there have been numerous issues with the apartment like roaches, the heating not working properly, and mold. Having to pay extra every time I visit my family living in a complex with this many issues is beyond me. Talk about a price gouge."

"I have lived in the Wesley apartment for for almost a year now and i can honestly say i haven't had any problems. I really appreciate Mrs Westervoorde in management for her willingness to answer all your qustions and assist when ever possiable. And always keeping the residents up to date on changes and making sure the grounds are clean and quite."

"A package was delivered by USPS to the office for one of the tenants. The tenant left work early and arrived at the office at 5:00 PM. An email was sent from the tenant explaining the time the tenant arrived and that the office was closed and the door was locked. The tenant also requested that the office reject any future package from the USPS and for them to return the package to USPS. The response from management was : "I was personally here until 5:15 PM!" Immediately attacking the integrity of the tenant. But in a subsequent email after the tenant replied in defense of themselves the management noted : "Even if you did come at 5:00 PM an email went out to tenants weeks ago with information that we now close at 5:00 PM. But I was here until 5:15. So I guess we are at a standstill!" This shows me that the management sole purpose was to attack the integrity of the tenant. She could have easily responded from the start with : "We now close at 5:00 PM and that would have been the end of it, but she chose to attack instead."

"My partner and I just moved here and we’ve had a wonderful experience so far. Everyone we’ve interacted with from management has been so friendly and helpful. I genuinely feel like I can reach out to them with any concern. The apartment itself is also very nice! Very clean and up-kept common areas. Our individual unit is also nice. We only have a one bedroom, but it feels much bigger with all of the storage. Also pet friendly. Our cats love the space as well. Plus they’re renovating the pool, which is a huge draw! Would recommend living here."

"Five stars to Asset living for the very obvious and very welcoming improvements and change up to the property its looking Great!! If I could give10 stars to Mike Urban(Landlord) and 10 stars to Jessie(Lead maintenance) for being overall top notch and very friendly and responsive. I have been a long time resident since 2017 (have planned on at least a10 year stay at the Wesley)and have seen my fair share of management and property management change in the last 6 years(4 in total).Since Mike and Jessie take over in October I've been extremely impressed by the improvements and transparency they uphold. Jessie is a professional and extremely hardworking friendly and gets the job done in a quick and stress free manner, if you have a problem in the unit make a work order and he will be answer and complete them. Mike has given an amazing sense of establishing security and community being top priority, he is transparent completely accountable and communicative. If mike and Jessie with Asset Living stick around and keep up the great work at the Wesley, I will surely stay 10 years plus."
