"This is the worst apartment building I’ve ever lived in. Consistent issues with management. They have high turnover in their office meaning no one ever knows what’s going on. Put in dozens of work orders to get one thing finally fixed. Dogs barking nonstop, thin walls, doors that don’t even seal means it’s constantly so loud. Garbage is always strewn around the dumpster. People frequently parking in the spot you paid for. POS. Don’t live here if you can avoid it."
"It's cold out today.. Pretty sad that we have turn our air conditioner for heat, these apts do not have heat controls. The leasing office control the apts heat. Our apts are seriously chilly."
"THERE ARE NO 485SQFT APARTMENTS. If you are looking for a studio apartment, see the place IN PERSON first. These thieves tried to get me to pay the same price for a 305sqft apartment. Everyone working here AND at Echelon Rents are trying to get a buck out of you. Took them almost 2 months to reimburse me $2500 after refusing to move in after being lied to. Nobody here is here to help you. They will fire office staff after a few weeks so you don't know who to talk to to resolve any issue you have. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RENT HERE"
"We love living here! Close proximity to restaurants and parks. Nice neighborhood. Their management team is awesome. Anytime i call i always talk to Ty who is ready to help solve any issues that arise. And their maintenance team maurice and his guys always come in and get the job dome whatever it is. They are a great team all around and i would highly recommend these apartments!"
"To all those potential renters of any property of Echelon Property Management Group, I say beware! There are many issues the company has both in care of property, in care of renters, and in care of their own employees I would guess given the high rate of turnover in the front office. Let's start at the beginning. I was shown a very decent apartment. Updated kitchen. New carpets. Updated bathroom. It wasn't bad and so I went for it. My first regret of many, as this ended up being a bait and switch. The apartment I was given had nothing updated. The oven was the original oven. The cabinetry was ugly, beat up, and original. Same with the hastily painted counters where the dents, holes, and cracks in the Formica showed up with just a bit of scrubbing. The carpets were stained, worn down, and where they met the kitchen floors our feet were constantly punctured by the floor strips. The bathroom was also original everything, except the towel rack as they left obvious reminder of the previous version in the wall. The oven ended up being a six month ordeal. I tried to put up with it, but it took twice as long to cook simple meals. So I started to insist on a repair. The maintenance crew is awesome. They made a few attempts to try and fix the situation. But it just made everything harder to use. It took months of calling the office. Most of the calls were ignored. And I mean Ignored. And this wasn't the first time I was ignored. It wasn't until I started getting angry that anyone would pay attention. And that is how they treat every issue. Ignore until they can't. The water issue was a very well known case of this. It's like a psychopathic poltergeist is controlling the temperature of your shower - just the shower. You'll fix the shower just right and then - freezing cold! So you jump out, or smack the shower head, or plaster yourself against the wall and right after your knob turning masterwork has gotten the temperature back - scalding hot water comes flooding out. Trying to wait it out isn't really an option as it can take 5 minutes or more to change back. When I call the Office about it, it's the first time they've heard of it! When I talk to other tenants, they have all complained to the office. The Office said they fixed it, fixed meant they reduced the water pressure significantly. And the temperature problem was still an issue. When I finally moved out of the apartment, after having maintenance in almost every two weeks to fix the leaking faucet in the tub that hated us all, it was very early July. I was told it would take two weeks for my deposit, but I should get that before the end of the month. I don't know what happened, but the current manager had no idea I existed when I asked where was my deposit that I was promised in mid August. Two months passed from my move out date before I received the deposit I was promised in two weeks. I heard from tenants the building next to Regent Park is actually worse. But the building I was in, the front door is often broken off it's hinges even after it's last update. And the back door was never updated and is often open, which has been abused by the local homeless before. The people of the building used to be a great high point to living there, a community. But most of the community left stating complaints from vermin to the shower. But if you do, get ready for the 3 AM nightlife screaming in drunken revelry and the constant car accidents that grace 14th."
