"Great location and very friendly maintenance staff, just extremely poorly managed. When viewing the place I was told every floor had thick concrete walls and noise wouldn’t be an issue. I’ve woken up multiple times to drilling in another room, and can clearly hear when neighbors have music on. I specifically asked if there is a spot to keep my bike and was assured the balcony would suffice as that’s what most tenants do. However, now that I live here they’ve started charging a fee for keeping bikes on the balcony. Not long into my lease the storage units were torn apart for renovations (with a 3 day notice to remove my items, thank god I was in town). I made it a habit to ask management how long until the new storage units would be done, and was routinely assured they were just a couple weeks out. It’s almost 4 months later, and they’ve just started working on the new units... It’s a cheap lease with great location, you get what you pay for. Expect many water outages, elevator issues, and inconsistencies from management. (Also I wasn’t paid to write this review, which can’t be said for most of the 5 stars)"

"I've lived here for a few years now, through several property managers and two different management companies. It's an older building, so there are plenty of quirks, but for the price, location, and balcony views, it's a great place to live. The new management company has also put a lot of effort into keeping up with maintenance and overall communication with us, as well as making some much-needed updates to the building."

"I have lived at Nuvo for a few months now. It's an older building, so there are definitely some quirks, but it's been a great experience living here. The management company is the most communicative I've ever experienced. They keep residents updated on any issues, and give accurate timelines for expected fixes. All the neighbors are extremely friendly, quiet, and extremely easy to live with. Cole in the leasing office is great. Always available, friendly, and informative."

"Lived here for 3 years or so. Old management was bad, But the new management is way better. Cole is great. This place is next to the park and quiet. Love not having paper thin walls. All in all really enjoy living here."

"My girlfriend and I moved in around April 2023, even after reading all the bad reviews. Here how it has been for us: We've gone through a lot of property managers, but finally seemed to land one who's been around for a while. Cole has been the best property manager by far. He's gone above his expected duties a few times now and we really appreciate him. I think the previous complaints against management are valid, but are not applicable while Cole is in charge. He is responsive and great at communicating things in a timely matter. Aside from Cole, there have been a handful of issues worth mentioning. ISSUES WE'VE HAD Move In: ⁃ Poor communication, hard to get in contact with aside from going to the office and speaking with someone in person ⁃ Had set a date/time for move in and management was 40+ minutes late. Upon their arrival, they did not have our mail keys ready nor the key for us to manage 1 elevator. ⁃ Sent measurements for our 2 large items they agreed to move for free, but didn't check that they would fit. As a result, our couch didn't fit in the elevator or stairs and we had to replace for a different one (which we later had to move in by ourselves) Repairs: ⁃ Sometimes take a while to be fulfilled, but that's due to them being short staffed. ⁃ Chris and Justin are wonderful, they just have too much on their plate and need more hands to attend to all requests. Water shut offs: ⁃ 6 water shut offs in 6 months. ⁃ Some were emergency/last minute, some were planned. Each lasted for 2-6 hours. Parking: ⁃ Were promised a designated spot in the lot for our moving van during move in, but spot was taken and management wasn't reachable ⁃ Our garage parking is great except for the driveway/garage door. ⁃ Driveway is supposed to be heated, but sensor was broken during the first snow and due to it being VERY steep, was dangerous to drive on. But note that Cole was quick to act and had the driveway salted as soon as he was alerted of the issue ⁃ Garage door sensors are poorly laid out, meaning you have to be within 1ft of the door for your clicker to work. We have brought this issue up multiple times with cheap/easy solves for this, but no action has been taken. But despite all these challenges, we have no regrets moving here. We love the area, the space is generous (2 large balconies for our 2 bed/2 bath), and neighbors are quiet and walls are thick."
