"Red Peak Management is incredibly difficult to work with. "Newly renovated unit" had several issues upon move-in. Maintenance requests take weeks to fulfill. Repairs lead to other problems in the unit. Management provides zero notice when shutting off the water or heat. Resident courtyard is littered with dog poop. The smoking ban is never enforced, with residents smoking cigarettes directly outside entry doors. Despite package vestibule, packages are often stolen. A/C was not functioning, and the single provided window unit did not properly fit and did not cool the entire apartment, just the bedroom."
"Shout out to Haile, he is an excellent maintenance provider! Was very thorough in diagnosing the problem with our busted dishwasher. It needed replacement and he took great care to install the new one PERFECTLY. And he was very kind and easy to work with. Thank you Haile!!"
"This is the worst building you could rent in this beautiful neighbourhood. The owner (RedPeak) does not respond to any communication (website, email, call, etc.) unless you post your complaint here. Others explained the fiasco with HVAC, so I will go with the next. The building is extremely old and creaky. You can hear almost everything from your all-around neighbours. The worst is if you have an inconsiderate neighbour living on top of your unit walking with high heels day and night (4-5 am) and have a noisy stay-overnight gatherings every weekend. If you want to waste your money, pay $2k monthly and have a year of regret."
"(Only because zero stars is not an option) I regret the day I ever came across RedPeak. This company doesn't have a semblance of professionalism or respect for their tenants. Here's a heads-up to anyone considering their properties: RUN! Our story began with signing a lease for a specific building. We flew all the way to Colorado, handpicked an apartment, only for them to inform us the day before move-in that the unit was indefinitely unavailable. Pressed for options, we were shepherded into another RedPeak property. Let's just say, it was a downhill journey from there. Things seemed decent initially, back in 2019 when RedPeak had just assumed ownership. However, their so-called "renovations" turned out to be superficial at best, epitomized by shoddy wallpaper and malfunctioning door knobs. We moved into a freshly "remodeled" unit that fell apart in less than a month. Thanks to their cost-cutting and poor workmanship, we were left grappling with a non-functioning dishwasher, cabinet doors that couldn't stay put, and flooring that slipped beneath appliances. The nightmare didn't stop there. Adjoining apartments were infested with rampant mold causing their tenants to relocate for months. Despite our persistent health issues (including a relentless cough that disappeared only after we moved), RedPeak insisted our unit was unaffected. Promised amenities remained perpetually unavailable with vague excuses about city permits. The fact that RedPeak owns a significant share of Denver's apartments and is well-aware of permit timelines only adds insult to injury. The year-long dysfunctional A/C was the final straw. Despite paying a steep rent, we lived in sweltering conditions, with RedPeak turning a blind eye to our complaints and offering ineffectual window units as a "solution". The icing on the cake? Their dismal customer service. Calls went unanswered, messages unreturned, and we nearly missed securing our new home due to their unresponsiveness. The only time we got a semblance of a response was when we threatened to terminate the lease due to their blatant violations. RedPeak is the epitome of a dreadful rental company. I implore you, save yourself the heartache and frustration. Steer clear of RedPeak. Consider yourself warned!"
"Pros: Location is incredible. Easy walk to Washington park, plenty of restaurants in nearby walking distance. The rooms are quite spacious with good storage. In the bedroom, you can comfortably fit a king sized bed. There is plenty of room to store off season tires in the hallway closets if you need to. There is plenty of pay to park spaces around the property, and plenty of street parking for guests. The community here is really friendly and the place is relatively quiet. Cons: It is impossible to contact redpeak regarding maintenance. You will have no point of contact with anyone for the entirety of your lease here, and maintenance tickets have months long lead times. I had a broken dishwasher for ~7 weeks before it finally got replaced. 3 of the 5 dryers in the community have been broken for several months. The lines to do laundry are long, so you may be required to do laundry off site. The AC was broken all summer and it is quite unsure if the central AC is still offered as an amenity ever again. You are best off if you provide your own portable AC unit. In the last year, entry doors to the apartment complex have been broken for roughly 50 days of the last year, so that anyone can enter the property. There have been several complaints of stolen packages. Furthermore, it seems as if many delivery services do not have an access key to the complex, so many packages are not delivered. There is no recycling. A few residents here will put non-broken down boxes in the dumpster, so the dumpster is often overflowing."
