Reviews
"I'm a disabled senior on social security and after reading these reviews there is absolutely no way I would ever even attempt to rent here this sounds like a trash hole it's horrible the way that people are being treated and there's no way I'm putting my life on the line for this dump."
"After 8 yrs, lease not renewed in 2022 so new mgmt could raise rents $300-$500/mo after pandemic. Wanted original tenants out. Started out nice "affordable" 55+ apt at DU Light Rail in 2014. Horrible original Prop Mgmt Co for many years. 2nd Co did not last a year (2021-2022) and another new one there now since late 2022/early 2023. Great location, but better for those still working. Not friendly to those on fixed income or on Soc Security. Also, pretty sad the office continues to be open just 2 days a week! Shows how important tenants are to the company."
"There has be very noticeable improvements. It is obvious that the new management is trying. Manager could be less Donald Trump."
"Bring the previous company back, the way this current MGMT company that just took over 3 months ago is absolute garbage! Phone calls and emails go unanswered, poor customer service from office. Seniors deserve better treatment and they shouldn’t have to move somewhere else to get it. If the building owners are smart and don’t want to lose tenants then they shouldn’t renew the contract with this company. Of course, they won’t care and I am sure they locked in some type of deal to keep them for the long run. Saving money with a super cheap poor-run MGMT company that isn’t even local to Colorado must be more important to the owners rather than tenant satisfaction."
"This is a 55+ community & the location is great, across the street from Denver University n the light rail station right next door, so access to public transportation is ideal n easy, the area has a lot of 20+ college students n keeps the location feeling young n ever-changing. The older community in this building is close-knit n we look out for each other n its per friendly. There is a slight issue with parking, n there is a parking garage where building residents can park on the 4th floor or the small lot next to building n attached to Train Station which is also used for Station parking, but alot of us use it instead of walking to n from Garage. Some tenants in our building are very elderly n can't necessarily walk to the structure cause it's too far a walk for them n we used to park on Buchtel Blvd, front of building faces Buchtel n would be able to park on that street, but the City decided to put in structural bike lanes on both sides of street n made that it impossible to park anywhere on that street. The lanes are great for bikers of all ages, young or old, but, it was never discussed with our tenants so we could have expressed our concern n only had one side of that street used for bikes n the other side for parking. By the college is a large residential area, with expensive homes n parking can be difficult because of students n other residents parking on side streets. One other downfalls is the leasing office, the management company doesn't staff that office very well. They are closed Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays n Wednesdays n we as seniors would appreciate if the office was open at least on Saturday a month especially if they are closed 4 days per week. Also, we seniors would appreciate older people working in the office because it would be easy to relate to someone older for an older group of residents, these young 20-somethings really don't get it. Although they maybe experienced they are too young, so staffing the office with 40 or 50-somethings would be better n more relatable, plus what would really be better would be to offer the office position to someone in our building, n offer them a bit of a discount for Apartment. HAVING a fellow senior from our building working g in office would be best thing for us."
