"Aside from some issues I’ve seen with public spaces, I’ve always had great success with maintenance getting to my issue within a few days. Maintenance has also been good about keeping me in the loop about next visits and what’s happening if something can’t be done in 1 visit."
"The people themselves are nice, but I have never worked with a maintenance team that has more room for growth. Our floor went two weeks without hot water. The Lincoln did not email any of its tenants to notify us of the building wide issue. The maintenance team gets to you about your issue about a week or more after you file a maintenance request. When there is a whole building issue, no one is notified. When you call the front desk you could be on hold for up to 25 minutes and the front desk folks say they documented your report, but because no one from maintenance shows up, I have no idea if it was documented. The folks I have spoke with face to face are kind, well spoken, presentable, friendly and competent people, but the system is the worst I’ve lived with. Absolutely terrible."
"When i first moved in i sent pictures on a closet that was broken it never got fixed, i was without a fridge for over two weeks despite sending multiple maintenance request. When resigning my lease they messed up my contract, and now over a year later and paying the monthly rent they sent me a reminder to pay an additional almost 200 dlls with a same day deadline for a vcr charge that when signing a year ago the leasing office told me that everything had checked out. And when asking still not getting a response"
"Location is great, absolutely fantastic. 10 minute walk from downtown, even faster scooter. 20 minute walk from Mile high stadium or 15 minutes from ball arena. Cannot say enough good things about the area. Garage parking is nice, and the apartment gym is legit, with dumbbells to 100 and a leg press. But, you get what you pay for. Rent is cheap for such a great area, which means that things in the apartment are likely going to be falling apart. I've put in 20+ maintenance requests since living here for a couple months. They all get completed within the week, but just know what you're getting yourself into. All of the leasing people and managers are very personable and nice, but this is definitely a budget place to live, nothing luxurious."
"Because of Denver’s high crime rate and instances of car theft, a gated parking garage was a must need for me when looking for a new apartment. When touring the place, I was told the gate was getting fixed in the next two weeks. We moved in 3 weeks later and it was ‘fixed’ for about 3 days, then was broken again. I told management, it would sometimes be working for half a day/maybe 2 at a time then be left open again for days. 3 weeks later, my car was broken into and torn to shreds, someone clearly attempting to steal it. I told management and filed a police report, nothing came of it. I have since been going by the management office about 3x a week to ask what the plan is for fixing the gate, and have had no straight answer. Shane is the only one there who has shown any sympathy for my concerns, even walking over with me a few times to temporarily fix it, but it gets broken again within days. Ownership needs a permanent fix for this ASAP for the safety of its residents. A parking garage without a functioning gate is an even bigger target for car theft or worse crimes than street/lot parking would be. When we pay extra for a gated parking garage and get a car broken into when the gate is broken, it just feels like a slap in the face."
