60 Corona Apartments

"Don't rent with RedPeak! I live at the 60 Corona apartment building and have had major back-to-back issues since I moved in just four months ago. Including: no heat, no hot water multiple times, no water at all, cold showers, ant problem, broken washing machine, no snow removal despite the lease stating that they are responsible for snow removal, and it took over a month for me to get access to my mailbox after they did not give me a mailbox key upon move in. Impossible to get ahold of anyone to address concerns. Issues take days to fix because RedPeak owns too many properties without enough staff is what I've gathered. When someone does answer the phone it's: "Maintenance is working on other problems at other buildings right now.""

"So they started out strong the first year I lived there..but now under new maintenence and management..it appears things don't get fixed, they continue to raise the rent every 9 months. I started off paying $685 for a tiny studio w/o any amenities, and a year and a half later they have raised it to $775 (most 1 bedrooms in the area with a balcony or pool are even cheaper). The one amenity they do offer is the free internet and that itself is splotchy. I LOVE my apartment (even though the carpets were never cleaned properly and pet stains are popping up from the previous tenant)..but the halls are filled with dog pee puddles, nobody cleans up their dog poop around the place, it's pretty loud even in the confines of your apartment with the partying tenants and the slamming of doors. Oh..and if you are allergic to smoke like I am, I would definitely suggest another apartment community as this one, you are basically in an easy bake oven between all the cigarette and pot smoking. Needless to say it has gone downhill faster than any apartment I have lived in. I will NOT be renewing my lease, as their attempts to "screw" you out of more money become evident every 9 months (this is their lease ranges). Take my word for it..much better apartments for your money in the same and even better areas."
