"Love this place! Great area close to Sloans Lake, Edgewater Marketplace and tons of restaurants and the Alamo Drafthouse. Clean apartment with huge windows and tons of light."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE TLDR: pretty apartments on the inside, but 10000% not worth it. Everything about this place is awful. To summarize: -apartment was filthy upon move in, tufts of hair on the floor, crumb filled drawers, dirty bathroom, etc. Management refused to have it cleaned and I had to pay $250 out of pocket to have it professionally cleaned. - homeless people and drug addicts have constant access to the building because the door code is extremely obvious. I find them sleeping on the stairwell landings on a weekly basis and multiple times have caught them smoking crack (presumably) inside the building filling the stairwells and hallways with smoke. -constant trash in the stairwells and homeless individuals belongings (backpacks, drug paraphernalia, bloody napkins) -management advised the door code had been changed in September and in December I entered the building, not allowing a homeless man behind me to enter, just to watch him punch in the code and walk in behind me. The code was never changed and still isn’t to this day. -have sent at least 15 emails to management noting each incident of this, with no response -security phone number posted throughout building is invalid. I was provided another number by management and it goes straight to voicemail. There simply is no building security. -I had noticed the handle of the door facing Sheridan Blvd was ripped off of the door (pictured) and it stayed like this for an unknown amount of time, allowing anyone to access the building. When I emailed management about this issue there was no response whatsoever. -There have been tents set up adjacent to our mailboxes, inhibiting me from checking my mail. -There have been drug deals occurring directly outside of our building in the parking lot. -*this is the only issue that’s been fixed after a MONTH and the new code to the dumpster is extremely easy to guess as well* The most recent issue has been the dumpster enclosure. The buttons to the keypad have been ripped out, causing the keypad to not function and the door to stay locked closed, except for when of course homeless individuals jump over and into the closure and exit from the inside leaving the door open. This was an issue I brought to management’s attention on December 20th, and a month has gone by with no solution or response whatsoever. Not only do residents have to physically throw their trash over a 6 foot high wall to hopefully aim for an open dumpster, there is trash everywhere surrounding the enclosure and the building. One morning, I found that both dumpsters had the lids closed, so there was no way to even throw trash into one. This is such a health hazard and quite frankly shocking that management expects us as residents to find a solution to something that we pay for in utility bills every month. I have only lived here 4 months and I am moving out at the end of this month and will not stop annoying management until they let me out of my lease. This place is an extreme health hazard. RENT LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE unless you want to secondhand smoke illegal street drugs and live amongst homeless people while you spend your hard earned money on rent, meanwhile cannot get in contact with management whatsoever."
