Polaris Apartments

"A $1775 1BR apartment comes out to ~$1850 a month before individual electricity and internet/cable bills. For this price, don't expect the hot tub or the pool to be open for more than 30% of the time you live here. Constant issues with electrical, pouring concrete, and construction etc. with the excuse of being a new building have gotten old over the last 6 months. When I first moved in I was forgiving with it and now getting weekly emails about being things that don't work in the facility and how construction crews are behind is a continued disappointment. I moved in for 4 weeks free and chose the more expensive new build due to the given promise of having new facilities, particularly a pool in the summer and the hot tub in the winter after long ski days. I would wait until they say they're finished construction before committing to a building with a completion date that is ever-changing and facilities that look nice but don't work. Otherwise it's generally quiet and out of the way of all the commotion and the office staff are friendly."

"Staff and location is amazing. Pool and indoor gym are very awesome to have. Cost of living however seems very sneaky… we paid one price one month and has continuously increased because “more tenants are moving into the building.” Shouldn’t that bring the cost lower or at most keep it the same? How are we responsible if other tenants have more utilities to use. It just doesn’t seem proportional, and no straight answer is ever given. Not sure what they add on to make rent another $200 each month, so make sure to ask questions if you’re thinking of moving here"

"I’ll start by saying the management and the neighborhood is pretty great, BUT they will dollar and dime you for every penny you have. The rates are INSANE for this area, and you won’t get your deposit back for normal wear and tear. These apartments are built very cheap (and I work in architecture and construction). If you have a pet, your pet deposit will be gone for routine carpet cleaning between tenants which somehow isn’t covered by the insane pet fee at move in or your monthly pet rent?? Seriously, they need to include this in those outrageous fees instead of being greedy at move-out and taking their “necessary” cleaning out of your deposit entirely. I lived here for less than a year and had to move due to work relocation, and I’m getting charged for patch/paint that should be considered normal wear and tear. Not to mention they TOLD ME that I would NOT be charged for it, and now here I am with an almost $200 charge for mounting my TV and hanging a couple a shelves…PLEASE beware if you hang ANYTHING to basically do the work for them or your deposit will be taken. Patch and paint it yourself or get stuck with a fee that they lied to me about. Absolutely disappointed that I ever lived here. Don’t expect your deposit back. You won’t get it no matter what you do, may as well leave the place a mess."

"Ive recently moved in about a month ago! My family & I really enjoy it here! It was stress free making the move. We like how it’s tucked away from the noise of the city, but also very close to Boulder & Denver! The ladies at the front office are The Best!! Always very helpful & courtesy! I’m telling you , this is going to be the happening, coolest place to live soon enough, after all this construction is done! Just you watch & see! Come move in, you’ll enjoy it!"

"So far, living here has been a great experience! Staff is accommodating and attentive, and the apartments are beautiful. I moved here from across the country which can typically be very challenging. With that said, every staff member that I spoke to over the phone during the process of inquiring about the complex, viewing my apartment unit, and signing the lease were incredibly helpful.
