"I've lived at Depot Square since they opened and am extremely happy with the new management! They are helpful, kind and friendly. Any maintenance issue is fixed promptly, and the manager is very helpful with any questions or issues. I am walking distance to Whole Food, Target, Barnes & Noble, and Pearl Street with tons of restaurants and shops. I love the free RTD Bus Pass and the information that the manager provides for community resources. The building is pretty new and modern as well. If you're able to get in, do it!"
"After a year of living here I have to say this building has the best building manager I've ever seen. Phoenix (the big boss) is the nicest guy you'll ever meet, and he bends over backwards to make his renters happy and comfortable. He always responds quickly and does everything in his power to help out. As most people from the Denver/Boulder area know, rent isn't cheap and finding a place that has quality accommodations and ample space is rare. These apartments are both cozy and high quality for the price you find them at! Super close to downtown and a jog on foothills away from campus. These apartments are by and far the best place I've ever lived and would always recommend depot square over any other place to rent! Love ya Phoenix!"
"I helped my mom move into this place a few weeks ago. So far, I have been extremely happy with the location and her treatment. Phoenix is truly the warmest and most sincere manager I've met anywhere--you can tell he goes beyond his duties and job description, actually caring about you and your life. Very happy. Maybe I'll move from Fort Collins soon and get a place. My only complaint is that the building itself could be more handicap accessible, especially considering its demographics! I hope this will change for multiple peoples sake soon. Thanks for the great experience so far. -Michael"
"We have lived here almost four years. We went through a rough spell with management at first, but after the building was sold, (again), we now feel quite secure. For the past two years Phoenix has been taking care of things in the office and he has truly made it possible for us to call this place home. Even though the building is owned by a large company, Phoenix provides personal service and treats us like family. Any issues are addressed promptly, and we feel quite safe here now. The best part about the building are the floor to ceiling windows and the easy access to public transportation. You can literally take the elevator into the basement and catch a bus. The downside is the parking situation. It's great to have a parking garage, keeps the snow off of the car, but the price for parking is a bit much, and there is actually no place you can legally park your car for free around here. So, if you drive, you have to buy the garage access or you will get tickets. Plus, I've gotten parking tickets in the garage even though I pay to park here! This, however, is an issue with the City of Boulder I believe, as the parking garage is not owned by Depot Square apartments. Being that this is a building primarily for lower income residents, the parking situation can be incredibly frustrating. I do hope that some solutions to this are forthcoming."
"I was lucky enough to be one of the first residents to move into this building and have been happy here, since. Convenient location! Easy access to major arterial roads, Goose Creek bike path and I take my elevator to the bus station. Really nice apartment. I have a nice view and am close to just about everything. What really makes the place though is the management. Phoenix is the best property manager with whom I've ever dealt and just a genuinely great guy. If you've ever had a bad one, you truly learn to appreciate a good one. Also, the building has an excellent pet policy and is I'm pretty sure the least expensive one bedroom in town, if you want to live without roommates. There is a lot more I could say, but you should probably just come check it out."
